Disney has given one of its newest lands a new look.
Disney’s theme parks are no strangers to seasonal transformations. At Disneyland Resort, Haunted Mansion Holiday brings The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) to New Orleans Square each year, while Walt Disney World Resort transforms Magic Kingdom with festive decorations, special entertainment, and holiday-themed attractions.

Some seasonal overlays are more elaborate than others. Disneyland’s “it’s a small world” Holiday, for example, sees the classic boat ride decorated with thousands of lights and ornaments, while Jungle Cruise becomes Jingle Cruise at Magic Kingdom, complete with Christmas decorations and festive jokes.
However, one of Disney’s newest lands has now received its first seasonal makeover, just seven months after welcoming its first guests.
Disney Reveals Christmas Makeover for World of Frozen
World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris officially opened on March 29, 2026, alongside the transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park into Disney Adventure World.
Inspired by Frozen (2013) and Frozen II (2019), the land recreates the fictional kingdom of Arendelle. Its centerpiece is the 118-foot North Mountain, topped by Elsa’s Ice Palace, overlooking a waterfront village filled with Scandinavian-inspired architecture.

Guests can experience Frozen Ever After, a boat ride featuring Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and advanced Audio-Animatronics, or meet the royal sisters inside Arendelle Castle. The land also features Nordic Crowns Tavern, themed shops, and the waterfront entertainment offering A Celebration in Arendelle.
As of November 7, however, World of Frozen looks noticeably different.
Disney has officially unveiled the land’s first Christmas makeover, introducing festive decorations inspired by traditional Nordic craftsmanship.
The transformation includes Christmas wreaths, garlands, and ornaments throughout Arendelle’s colorful streets. A large Christmas tree now welcomes guests at the entrance, while seasonal decorations complement the village’s existing Norwegian-inspired architecture.
Although World of Frozen already features snow-covered mountains and icy scenery, the new additions give the kingdom a distinctly festive appearance for the first time.

The makeover is temporary, forming part of Disney Enchanted Christmas, which officially began on November 7 and continues through January 6, 2027.
However, decorations aren’t the only changes awaiting guests this holiday season.
New ‘Frozen’ Entertainment Arrives at Disney Adventure World
Disney has also introduced two seasonal entertainment offerings specifically for World of Frozen’s first Christmas.
The first, The Arendelle Carolers, is a 15-minute musical performance held several times throughout the day.
Olaf leads a choir through songs from the 2017 animated short Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, including “Ring in the Season” and “When We’re Together.” Anna and Elsa eventually join the performance, while artificial snow falls across the village.

Meanwhile, guests visiting Arendelle Bay can experience Ring in the Season with Anna and Elsa, a separate seven-minute celebration featuring the sisters in new winter outfits.
The performance takes place several times daily, including in the late afternoon, and sees Anna and Elsa welcome guests to a traditional celebration on the fjord, complete with the ringing of the Yule Bell.
Disney has also expanded World of Frozen’s character lineup. Kristoff is making his first appearances among the land’s roaming characters, joining familiar Arendelle residents Oaken and Mossie.
The changes extend to shopping and dining, with Nordic-inspired seasonal dishes available throughout the village. Arendelle Boutique is also offering souvenirs inspired by Scandinavian craftsmanship alongside its existing Frozen merchandise.
Elsewhere at Disneyland Paris, Disney Enchanted Christmas continues with the return of Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade! at Disneyland Park. The award-winning parade runs twice daily, with illuminated floats, Disney characters, and an appearance by Santa Claus.

The park’s 78-foot Christmas tree is also back in Town Square, while “Let’s Sing Christmas!” returns to Videopolis Theatre.
New for 2026, Minnie Mouse and Mrs. Claus are starring in a musical celebration near Sleeping Beauty Castle. Guests can also visit Santa Claus at his new location inside Disney Clothiers on Main Street, U.S.A.
Disney Adventure World’s seasonal celebrations will culminate in a special New Year’s Eve event on December 31. The park will welcome 2027 with a drone and fireworks spectacular above World of Frozen, weather permitting.
With the holiday overlay scheduled to end on January 6, guests have just two months to experience Arendelle’s first Christmas before the land returns to its regular appearance.
