Disney Announces Major New Holiday Park Event

Disneyland Paris has officially confirmed that World of Frozen will celebrate Christmas for the first time from November 7, 2026, through January 6, 2027, extending Disney Enchanted Christmas into Disney Adventure World. The expansion gives the resort’s newest land a fresh seasonal draw only months after its March debut, while Disneyland Park’s established holiday lineup returns alongside it.
For guests, Christmas at Disneyland Paris is no longer concentrated only in Disneyland Park. Arendelle is becoming a second holiday destination, with new decorations, music, characters, food, shopping, and a separate New Year’s Eve offering spreading the celebration across both parks.
World of Frozen Gets Its First Christmas Overlay
Disney says World of Frozen will take on an atmosphere inspired by Scandinavian Christmas traditions, with Nordic decorations and new musical celebrations. Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Kristoff are all part of the seasonal plans, according to Disneyland Paris’ official announcement.
The entertainment lineup includes The Arendelle Carolers and “Ring in the Season with Anna and Elsa.” Disney’s official Christmas page confirms that celebrations will take place in both Disneyland Park and World of Frozen, making the new land a formal part of Disney Enchanted Christmas.

Disney Is Giving Guests More Reasons to Spend Time in Arendelle
World of Frozen was already positioned as the centerpiece of Disney Adventure World when the reimagined second gate opened in March. The land includes Frozen Ever After and character experiences, dining, retail, and entertainment.

Those offerings make the commercial side of the season visible: Disney is surrounding included holiday entertainment with dining, retail, and optional premium experiences. What Disney has not said is that the World of Frozen Christmas expansion was created to justify higher ticket or hotel prices. No such motive should be treated as confirmed.
Crowds Could Make the New Holiday Draw Complicated
Disney has not published attendance projections for World of Frozen’s first Christmas, so claims that the land will produce record holiday crowds would be speculation. Still, there is precedent for intense demand around Arendelle.

Disneyland Park’s Christmas Traditions Are Returning
The expansion into Disney Adventure World does not replace the established Christmas program at Disneyland Park. Disney says Main Street, U.S.A. will again receive seasonal décor, while the resort’s approximately 24-meter Christmas tree will return to Town Square.
Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade is returning, with Disney’s official Christmas page advertising two performances per day. “Let’s Sing Christmas!” returns as another seasonal entertainment option, and character encounters will include familiar Disney faces in holiday attire.
Santa Claus is scheduled to meet guests at Disneyland Park beginning November 14, with the official page stating that the meet-and-greet continues through December 25, subject to availability. These returning offerings give longtime visitors a familiar program even as Disney shifts attention toward its newest park.
Disneyland Park therefore remains the home of the resort’s traditional Christmas imagery, while Disney Adventure World gets a franchise-specific celebration built around Frozen.
New Year’s Eve Pushes the Two-Park Strategy Further
The expansion culminates on December 31, when both Disneyland Paris parks will host their own New Year’s Eve celebrations. At Disney Adventure World, Disney plans parties across the themed worlds followed by a drone and fireworks show above World of Frozen, with drones dependent on weather conditions.
Disneyland Park will offer its own celebration with Disney Characters, DJ parties, and a special midnight fireworks display above Sleeping Beauty Castle. That gives guests two distinct places to ring in 2027 and reinforces Disneyland Paris’ push to program both gates as nighttime destinations.
Disney has confirmed the dates, core entertainment, returning Disneyland Park traditions, and Arendelle’s new Christmas identity. What remains unknown is how the resort manages demand once World of Frozen meets one of Disneyland Paris’ signature seasonal events. Guests visiting France between November 7 and January 6 will be the first to see whether Christmas in Arendelle becomes a new annual tradition.
