Walt Disney World guests planning to spend money on Lightning Lane this weekend may need to rethink their approach, particularly anyone visiting the parks today.

Demand for paid line-skipping has outpaced supply across much of the resort, with Lightning Lane access for several of the most popular attractions selling out yesterday, Friday, October 23. For some rides, there’s nothing left to buy right through Sunday, October 25.

The sellouts cover Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and include both Lightning Lane Single Pass and the more expensive Lightning Lane Premier Pass. They also come just over a week before Disney increases the maximum prices of four Single Pass attractions on November 1.

Magic Kingdom

TRON Lightcycle / Run has been the toughest ride to pay your way onto. Its Single Pass, listed at $22 yesterday, is sold out for all three days of the weekend.

There’s better news for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. After selling out yesterday at $14, its Single Pass is available today, October 24, before selling out again on Sunday. Of the attractions in this roundup, it’s the only one where you can still buy a Single Pass today, although Avatar Flight of Passage at Disney’s Animal Kingdom also remains available.

If you were hoping for the Magic Kingdom Premier Pass, today is out. It was available yesterday at $399, is sold out today, and opens back up on Sunday.

EPCOT

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind mirrors TRON’s weekend: sold out Friday, Saturday, and Sunday after being priced at $22 yesterday. If you didn’t buy ahead, you’ll be relying on standby until at least Monday, October 26.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance sold out yesterday, when a Single Pass cost $25, and is sold out again today. Sunday is still showing availability for now.

The Hollywood Studios Premier Pass follows the same path as its Magic Kingdom counterpart: available yesterday at $349, gone for today, and back on Sunday.

Today stands out as the most challenging day of the weekend for paid shorter waits, with TRON Lightcycle / Run, Cosmic Rewind, Rise of the Resistance, and both Premier Pass options all unavailable. With Halloween a week away and the holiday season about to kick off, the demand isn’t a huge surprise.

Check the My Disney Experience app before you leave, as availability varies by attraction and by day. For TRON Lightcycle / Run and Cosmic Rewind, standby is the only option through Sunday, so arrive before park opening and ride the headliners first. Premier Pass buyers should look to Sunday, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train fans should take advantage of today’s window. With prices rising on November 1, if your trip is later, consider buying Lightning Lane access as soon as your booking window opens.

All pricing and sellouts correct at the time of publication.

When he’s not thinking about the Magic Kingdom, Thomas is usually reading a book, becoming desperately obsessed with fictional characters, or baking something delicious (his favorite is chocolate cake -- to bake and to eat). He's a dreamer and grew up on Mulan saving the world, Jim Hawkins soaring through the stars, and Padmé Amidala fighting a Nexu. At the Parks, he loves to ride Everest, stroll down Main Street with an overstuffed pin lanyard around his neck, and eat as many Mickey-shaped ice creams as possible. His favorite character is Han Solo (yes, he did shoot first), and his… More »
