Disney California Adventure Park Gate Now Closed, Guests Confirm
A section of Disney California Adventure Park between two of its most popular destinations has been quietly walled off. While Disneyland Resort hasn’t said a word about the project, an announcement from earlier this week may have already revealed what’s being built there.
The Construction That Appeared on August 19

WDWNT reported on Wednesday that a construction site had materialized at Disney California Adventure Park, across from the Grizzly Peak waterfall, between Carthay Circle and Avengers Campus. Guests walking through the area on Wednesday confirmed the presence of stone barriers connected by a brown wooden gate, with green plywood barriers installed behind the gate to block any view of the active work happening inside. The only visible indication of what’s taking shape is a tall metal structure rising just above the construction wall line.
Disneyland Resort has not acknowledged the project, explained what is being built, or indicated how long the construction will be visible to guests.
A Clue That Arrived Two Days Early

The timing of the construction’s appearance aligns with an announcement from the official @DisneyEats Instagram account on August 17 — two days before the barriers went up. The post teased a new Quick-Service dining kiosk coming to Disney California Adventure Park:
A little taste of the valley, right in the heart of Disney California Adventure Park ☀️ Get ready for Bountiful Valley Brews – a new kiosk serving light bites and brews. Opening later this year! #Disneyland #CaliforniaAdventure

The location, timing, and description of a new outdoor dining kiosk all point to the Bountiful Valley Brews construction as what guests are now seeing behind those green plywood barriers. However, Disneyland Resort hasn’t officially confirmed the connection, and no opening date for the new kiosk has been announced. Menu details beyond “light bites and brews” haven’t been shared yet either.
