Disney World Is Rapidly Running Out of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Dates
If you’re planning to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year, you may not want to wait much longer before purchasing tickets.
Walt Disney World has officially sold out two more party nights, continuing a trend that has been building since tickets first became available. The newest sold-out dates are August 18 and October 13, bringing the total number of unavailable parties to five before the event has even kicked off.

The latest update is interesting because it shows demand isn’t limited to the least expensive nights anymore.
Earlier this summer, Halloween night became the first party to sell out, followed by August 11 and August 14. Those August dates carried the lowest ticket prices of the season at $119, making them obvious favorites for guests looking to save money while still enjoying Disney’s biggest Halloween celebration.
August 18 followed a similar pattern. Although it cost slightly more at $129, it still ranked among the more affordable options on the calendar.
October 13 tells a different story.
At $209 per ticket, it’s one of the most expensive parties of the season. Its sellout suggests many guests aren’t simply shopping for the cheapest ticket anymore. Instead, they’re choosing dates that fit their vacation schedules or that allow them to experience Magic Kingdom closer to Halloween.
October has always been one of the most popular months to visit Walt Disney World. The fall decorations are in full swing, seasonal treats can be found across the parks, and many families schedule vacations around school breaks. It’s not surprising to see demand beginning to shift toward those dates.

With five parties now sold out, guests should expect remaining availability to become more competitive over the coming weeks.
Historically, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party gains momentum as summer progresses. Visitors who haven’t finalized their fall vacations often begin making reservations during July and August, leading to additional sellouts before the first party even takes place.
For guests unfamiliar with the event, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed celebration held on select nights at Magic Kingdom. Party guests can enter the park beginning at 4 p.m., with exclusive entertainment running throughout the evening.
That includes the Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, Disney’s Halloween fireworks, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, trick-or-treat locations, specialty snacks, unique character appearances, and attraction overlays available only during party nights.
Because the event requires a separate admission ticket, once Disney reaches capacity for a particular evening, no additional tickets become available.

That’s why many longtime visitors purchase tickets months in advance, especially if they have a specific vacation schedule that leaves little flexibility.
There are still plenty of dates remaining this season, but the list is shrinking.
If attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a priority for your Walt Disney World vacation, purchasing tickets sooner rather than later could help you avoid disappointment as more dates continue to sell out.
