Disney Opened Halloween Party Sales to the Public and the Sellout Clock Is Already Ticking

Disney opened Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket sales to Walt Disney World Resort guests on May 5. That gave on-property guests a week of first access before the general public could buy. A week is enough time for a lot to happen on a high-demand, limited-capacity event, and Disney made it clear before public sales even opened that certain nights were already at risk of selling out.

Tickets are now available to everyone. The question is how long the dates you want will remain available.

What Tickets Cost

Prices for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026 range from $119 to $229 per person depending on the date. The cheapest nights are August 11 and August 14, both listed at $119. Opening night on August 7 comes in at $157. Peak dates later in the season, including Halloween night on October 31, sit at the top of the pricing range at $229.

Party tickets get guests into Magic Kingdom starting at 4 p.m. with the official event running from 7 p.m. to midnight.

Which Dates Are Going First

Halloween night goes first every year without exception. If October 31 is the target date, there is no version of this where waiting makes sense.

The $119 August nights are the next ones to watch. Budget-friendly entry points attract families who want the full party experience without peak pricing, and that demand moves fast. The week leading up to Halloween fills quickly as well, driven by fall break travel and guests planning long weekends around the event.

Resort guests already have a full week of access. Some of the most desirable dates are almost certainly thinner than they were on May 5.

What Is New in 2026

Roaming villains are the headline addition this year. Instead of stationary meet-and-greet locations, villain characters will move through the park and interact more freely with guests. That shift creates the kind of spontaneous encounter that often becomes the most memorable moment of the night.

Stitch is getting his own dance party in Tomorrowland with costume changes built into the experience. Attraction overlays are returning with seasonal twists on select rides. Seasonal snacks are back including fan-favorite items like Minnie’s Witch Hat, which is reportedly expected to return alongside the broader lineup of limited-time treats.

What Is Coming Back

The Boo To You Parade is returning, which remains one of the most beloved parades in all of Walt Disney World. Disney’s Not-So-Spooktacular Fireworks are back with a show that cannot be seen during regular park hours. The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular at Cinderella Castle is returning, along with the brand-new Masquerade with Stitch Dance Party, rounding out the entertainment lineup.

Trick-or-treating throughout the park is part of the experience as well, with candy available at stations across Magic Kingdom in quantities that make the effort genuinely worthwhile.

Why the Separately Ticketed Format Matters

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party requires a ticket in addition to regular Magic Kingdom admission. The capped attendance is a significant part of what makes the event worth buying into. Wait times during the party are consistently far shorter than regular park hours, the festive atmosphere is unlike anything available during the day, and the exclusive entertainment cannot be seen without a party ticket.

That combination of shorter lines, exclusive shows, and a more intimate version of the park is exactly why demand is as high as it is and exactly why certain dates disappear as fast as they do.

Tickets are live right now. The sellout warning is already in place. Buy the dates you want before someone else does.

As of 9:15 a.m. today, Halloween Night is sold out.
