Local Authorities on the Scene of Violent Incident at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
A physical altercation at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park on Monday prompted law enforcement to respond to Walt Disney World Resort for the second time in less than 24 hours.
Deputies Called to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park at 1:41 p.m.

At 1:41 p.m. on June 22, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting a physical fight at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Scanner monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime shared the dispatch on X (formerly known as Twitter):

The Google Maps pin attached to the alert places the response on a trail near the park’s entrance — though, as is standard with scanner activity tied to Walt Disney World Resort, the pinned location reflects a generalized tracking address rather than a confirmed account of exactly where the altercation took place inside the park.

What actually happened remains largely unknown. The number of people involved, the nature of the injuries, and whether anyone required medical attention haven’t been established. Neither Walt Disney World Resort nor the Orange County Sheriff’s Office has released any information about the incident. As with most guest altercations on Disney property, further details are only likely to emerge if criminal charges are filed.
Part of a Troubling 24-Hour Stretch

Monday’s Animal Kingdom response came less than a day after law enforcement was called to EPCOT under nearly identical circumstances. On Sunday, June 21 — Father’s Day — deputies responded to a physical fight at EPCOT at 3:45 p.m. That incident also remains without an official explanation or any confirmed details about those involved.
Theme Park Operations Unaffected
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park continued operating normally throughout Monday afternoon and evening following the law enforcement response. Attractions, dining, merchandise locations, and transportation services all ran without reported interruption, and no broader disruptions to the Central Florida Disney Park guest experience were noted.

Guests who find themselves near a security or law enforcement response at any Walt Disney World Resort destination should keep their distance and follow all instructions from cast members and officers on the scene.
