Disney World Princesses Switch Sides for the Next 12 Days at Magic Kingdom
One of Magic Kingdom’s most popular character experiences is looking a little different this summer.
Guests visiting Princess Fairytale Hall have discovered that Disney has temporarily rearranged its princess meet-and-greet lineup, changing a setup that many regular visitors have become familiar with over the years. While the attraction remains open and continues offering opportunities to meet beloved Disney royalty, families may notice some unexpected changes when they step inside.

Located just behind Cinderella Castle, Princess Fairytale Hall has long served as the primary location for meeting Disney Princesses at Magic Kingdom. The attraction features two separate queues, with each line typically leading guests to two different princess encounters.
Traditionally, Cinderella and Princess Tiana each greet guests alongside a rotating visiting princess. Depending on the day, those additional princesses can include characters such as Rapunzel, Belle, Snow White, and others.
For now, however, Disney has switched things up.
Instead of appearing separately, Cinderella and Tiana are now greeting guests together. The second side of Princess Fairytale Hall has been turned over entirely to visiting princesses, creating a different flow for guests entering the attraction.
The change is reflected on the attraction’s signage. Guests approaching the entrance will now see Cinderella and Tiana displayed together on one queue while the other side features icons representing visiting princesses.
The adjustment means guests who enter the visiting princess queue may meet a variety of characters, but Disney is not specifically listing who will be available at any given time. That mystery element has always existed to some degree at Princess Fairytale Hall, but now it plays an even bigger role.

According to information currently posted by Walt Disney World, the revised arrangement is scheduled to run from June 7 through July 4. During that period, Princess Tiana will continue appearing alongside Cinderella while the other queue remains dedicated to visiting princesses.
Disney has not announced why the temporary switch was made.
Although the company frequently adjusts entertainment offerings, character schedules, and operational procedures throughout the year, no official explanation has accompanied this particular change.
For many guests, the rearrangement may not have a major impact. In fact, some families could benefit from being able to meet both Cinderella and Tiana within the same queue. Visitors who specifically want photos and autographs from those two princesses may find the experience more convenient than before.
Others, however, may need to be a little more flexible. Since the visiting princess lineup can vary, there is no guarantee which characters will appear during a particular visit.

Character meet-and-greets continue to play an important role in the Magic Kingdom experience. While attractions often receive most of the attention, many families consider these personal interactions among the most memorable parts of their Disney vacation.
Whether this temporary arrangement leads to additional changes later remains unknown. For now, guests planning a summer trip to Magic Kingdom should be aware that the princesses have traded places, at least for a few weeks, inside one of Disney World’s most beloved character attractions.
