Les Halles Boulangerie-Pâtisserie at EPCOT is no longer a hidden gem. It might have been once, back when guests could walk into the France Pavilion on a weekday afternoon, order a Croque Monsieur and a Pain au Chocolat, and find a table without too much effort. Those days are behind the bakery now. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure changed the crowd flow in the France Pavilion permanently, and Les Halles has been absorbing the consequences ever since.
Now the menu has changed too, and if you are heading to EPCOT this summer without knowing about the updates, you are going to find some surprises at the counter.
What Got Removed
Four items have been pulled from the menu entirely:
- Pain Lard Fromage
- Patisserie a l’abricot
- Tarte au Chocolat et Caramel
- Café Liegois
What Is New at Disney
Six new items have been added, giving the menu a net gain of two offerings:
- Croiss Oh La La at $13.95, now a permanent menu item after previously appearing as a limited-time offering
- Citron Blueberry at $7.95
- Macaron Chocolat at $7.95
- Éclair Vanille at $5.75
- Macaron Plant Based at $8.95
- Ourson at $5.95
The Croiss Oh La La becoming a permanent fixture is the headline addition for guests who encountered it during its limited run and wanted it to stay.
The Price Increases
Sixteen existing items are now more expensive. Most increases land between 25 and 50 cents, though a couple have moved up by a full dollar. Here is the complete list:
- Poulet au Pistou: $11.50 to $11.95
- Croissant Jambon Fromage: $6.95 to $7.95
- Jambon Beurre: $10.95 to $11.25
- Quiche Lorraine: $7.25 to $7.50
- Pissaladiere: $5.95 to $6.95
- Croque Monsieur: $10.50 to $10.75
- Croissant: $3.25 to $3.95
- Pain au Chocolat: $4.25 to $4.95
- Croissant Amandes: $6.75 to $6.95
- Tarte aux Fraises: $7.25 to $7.75
- Macarons Collection: $13.50 to $13.75
- Framboise: $7.50 to $7.95
- Espresso: $5.15 to $5.25
- Sirop Monin: $1.25 to $1.50
- Mimosa: $12.75 to $12.95
- Frosé: $15.75 to $15.95
The Croissant jumping from $3.25 to $3.95 and the Pain au Chocolat moving from $4.25 to $4.95 are the increases most guests are going to feel immediately. Those two items are among the most frequently ordered at the bakery and both have crossed meaningful price thresholds with these adjustments.
Why the Timing Matters
These changes land at the start of summer, which is the single most challenging time of year to navigate Les Halles. The International Flower and Garden Festival wrapped up on June 1, taking the outdoor pop-up kitchens along the World Showcase promenade with it. The next festival, the International Food and Wine Festival, does not begin until late August. That gap means Les Halles is going to be one of the primary quick service options in the France Pavilion area for the entire summer, handling a crowd volume that the outdoor festival kitchens would normally help absorb.
Lines at Les Halles regularly stretch outside the entrance during peak hours even under normal conditions. This summer those conditions are going to be amplified, and the seating situation inside, which has always been a challenge given the limited number of tables relative to the volume of guests ordering, is going to require the same strategy it always does: grab a table the moment you walk in, before you order, not after.
What to Know Before You Go to Disney
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie is located in the France Pavilion at World Showcase in EPCOT. Despite the price increases and the crowds, the food remains some of the best quick service available anywhere in Walt Disney World. The menu spans traditional French sandwiches, quiches, soups, fresh bread, pastries, and desserts alongside wine, champagne, beer, and coffee. At the new price points, almost everything on the menu still represents solid value for a Walt Disney World quick service meal.
Know the menu before you get in line. It moves faster that way and the experience is better for everyone behind you.
