The latest piece of the puzzle comes from Daredevil: Born Again (2025), where Jessica Jones is pulled back into action after concerns about her child’s safety.

At first, it plays like a personal story. But for longtime Marvel fans, it’s the kind of detail that tends to lead somewhere bigger.

This report was first shared by The Direct, and it centers on a character who hasn’t fully stepped into the spotlight yet—Danielle Cage. In the comics, Danielle is the daughter of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, and in at least one future storyline, she eventually becomes Captain America.

That doesn’t confirm anything outright for the MCU. But it does show that Marvel has source material to pull from if it chooses to go in that direction.

And historically, that’s how these things start.

Captain America Has Never Been Just One Person
