After Disney World Permanently Closes Animal Kingdom Location, Select Guests Are Being Called Back
Disney is giving its most loyal fans another reason to head back to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, this time with a collectible tied directly to one of the company’s biggest modern animated franchises.

The Walt Disney World Annual Passholder Program continues to be a cornerstone for frequent visitors, offering year-round access to all four theme parks along with a suite of added perks. These benefits include standard theme park parking, savings on dining and merchandise, and select discounts on special experiences throughout the resort. Annual Passholders can also take advantage of exclusive offerings that rotate throughout the year.
Pass options differ by tier, with pricing, reservation availability, and blockout dates varying depending on the pass selected. Optional add-ons such as water park access or PhotoPass downloads can be included, and Passholders are required to make park reservations on many dates. A valid photo ID is necessary when using discounts, and support is available through Disney’s dedicated V.I.PASSHOLDER team. Guests can also renew or upgrade their passes as needed.
For a limited time, Walt Disney World has introduced a brand-new Zootopia-themed Annual Passholder magnet at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Featuring fan-favorite characters Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, the magnet can be picked up at Discovery Trading Company between February 5 and March 15, while supplies last. To receive one, guests must present a valid Annual Pass along with photo identification.

The timing of the magnet release aligns with continued interest in the Zootopia franchise, which remains a significant presence across Walt Disney World. Following the release of Zootopia 2 in late 2025, the billion-dollar franchise has extended its reach beyond films and merchandise into new theme park experiences.
One of the most notable additions arrived in November 2025, when Disney’s Animal Kingdom debuted Zootopia: Better Zoogether! The 4D attraction took over the Tree of Life Theater, replacing It’s Tough to Be a Bug! The show brings Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and other characters together for a celebration of Zoogether Day, complete with 4D effects, new faces from the film, and an Audio-Animatronic appearance by Clawhauser.
While the magnet itself is a modest perk, it complements the larger slate of updates happening across Walt Disney World. Annual Passholders visiting Animal Kingdom can experience the new show and take home a limited-edition souvenir at the same time.

The release also follows the permanent closure of DinoLand U.S.A., which recently shut its gates as Imagineering prepares to transform the area into the Tropical Americas.
