According to the official Disneyland website, the thrilling journey through the Temple of the Forbidden Eye will be unavailable to guests on December 2 and December 3, with the attraction listed to reopen on December 4. The ride will continue regular operations through December 1.

Guests who have trekked alongside Dr. Jones know what awaits inside: intricate carvings, mysterious frescoes, and a story centered on Mara—a deity who offers riches to those who resist looking into its eyes, and misfortune to those who do not. The expedition places guests aboard rugged troop transports as they dodge rolling boulders, cross collapsing bridges, and face eerie spirits, snakes, and mummies deep within the temple.

First opening at Disneyland Park in 1995, Indiana Jones Adventure remains one of the resort’s most immersive and detailed attractions. The ride pays tribute to Harrison Ford’s daring archaeologist and continues to draw fans eager to step into the world of the beloved film franchise.

Across the globe, Indiana Jones continues to make his mark in Disney Parks. Paris visitors can take on Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril at Disneyland Paris, while adventurers in Japan can explore Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull at Tokyo DisneySea.

Meanwhile, new adventures are on the horizon at Walt Disney World Resort. As part of the transformation of DinoLand U.S.A. into the Tropical Americas, Indiana Jones will replace DINOSAUR at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The new experience is planned to open alongside an Encanto-themed attraction when the land debuts in 2027. The DINOSAUR attraction will have its final ride in early 2026, making way for Indy’s next great adventure.

From Asia to America, Indiana Jones continues to inspire explorers of all ages—and soon, both coasts will have even more ways to uncover the mysteries of the Temple.
