Disney Quietly Pulls Marvel’s Fantastic Four Characters from Tomorrowland

Disneyland has quietly removed one of its newest attractions from Tomorrowland, just months after its summer debut. Fans visiting the park will no longer be able to meet Marvel’s iconic superhero team or their robotic companion, H.E.R.B.I.E., as confirmed by updates on the official Disneyland website and app.

A New Attraction Already Gone

The meet-and-greet had launched earlier this summer, giving guests the chance to interact with the Fantastic Four in a specially themed area of Tomorrowland. Visitors could take photos, get autographs, and enjoy a rare opportunity to meet characters from the franchise.

The removal comes as a surprise to many, especially since the attraction had been promoted as part of Disneyland’s expanding Marvel presence. No official explanation has been provided by the park, leaving it unclear whether the removal is temporary for refurbishment or if Disneyland plans to permanently discontinue the experience.

Why So Soon?

Guests who were hoping to meet Mr. Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, the Human Torch, or The Thing—and, of course, H.E.R.B.I.E.—will now need to adjust their plans, as the characters are no longer listed on the park’s digital guides or interactive maps.

Disneyland has not released a formal statement addressing the removal, leaving fans speculating about the decision. As with other character experiences, the park routinely rotates meet-and-greets and occasionally retires certain characters to make room for new additions or seasonal events.

Visitors planning trips to Disneyland are encouraged to check the official website or app for the latest updates on character appearances and meet-and-greet opportunities. While the Fantastic Four and H.E.R.B.I.E. are no longer available, Disneyland continues to offer a wide array of Marvel and other themed experiences throughout the park.
