The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is about to get even more adventurous in 2025 as Moana and her friends sail into the festival in topiary form for the very first time. With the highly anticipated Moana 2 set to make waves in theaters, Disney is bringing even more of the Wayfinder’s magic to the park.
Moana, Maui, and Friends Join the Festival
For the first time ever, guests will be greeted at EPCOT’s entrance by beautifully crafted topiaries of Moana, Maui, Heihei, and Pua. These floral creations are expected to capture the adventurous spirit of the characters, blending vibrant greenery with artistic details that bring their story to life.
Though Disney has yet to reveal an official look at the topiaries, past designs have set a high standard, meaning fans can expect a breathtaking tribute to Moana. The addition of these figures celebrates the continued popularity of the franchise, with Moana 2 making 2025 the perfect year to honor the character at one of EPCOT’s most beloved festivals.
New Offerings Set to Debut
Moana’s arrival isn’t the only exciting update for the 2025 festival. Disney has announced several new additions, including:
- Two Brand-New Outdoor Kitchens – These new dining locations will introduce fresh flavors inspired by the season.
- A Resort-Inspired Playground – This new play area, themed after Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, will give families a space to relax and unwind.
- New Photo Opportunities – Following the success of the Moana photo op at this year’s Festival of the Arts, fans can expect even more immersive backdrops.
With these enhancements, the Flower & Garden Festival is shaping up to be one of the most dynamic yet, blending floral artistry, delicious cuisine, and interactive experiences.
Moana’s Presence at EPCOT Grows
Moana has quickly become an integral part of EPCOT’s transformation. With Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana now open in World Nature, and her topiaries debuting at the Flower & Garden Festival, it’s clear that Disney is embracing the adventurous heroine in a big way.
Fans can’t help but wonder—could Moana’s presence at EPCOT expand even further? While nothing has been announced, her increasing role in the park suggests that Disney isn’t finished telling her story.
As festival season approaches, guests can look forward to experiencing Moana’s world in a fresh new way, making the 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival an event that’s truly worth the voyage.
There has been talk of a Mona coaster or flume ride. Rather than going into Adventureland it should be added to the space between The Land and Nemo and Friends which is next to the EPCOT Moana experience. It would expand the World Nature section which is a big win
