Broadway fans were thrilled with both Hamilton as well as Newsies came to Disney+ in 2020. It gave everyone a chance to see an amazing production even when Broadway was dark. Now we are hearing rumors that another great production will be coming in 2021.
After closing on Broadway on August 24th, 2019, the theatre did not actually go dark no were the sets taken down. Apparently, all was kept as a special performance had been scheduled in semi-secrecy specifically to record for a Disney+ Original release.

It is not clear when this might be joining Disney+ as many rumored the end of 2020 while now it has been pushed to mid-2021. No matter when Aladdin joins Disney+ we will for sure be tuned in. Will you?
