The 6 Best Quick Service Restaurants At Disney World

Walt Disney World vacations tend to be on the busier side, so why waste time waiting to be seated at a restaurant when you can go the quick-service dining route instead? The four Disney parks and twenty-plus resorts are home to plenty of options, which will spare you both money and time. Here is my list of my favorite places to eat a quality meal while on the go during my Walt Disney World vacation!

6) Contempo Cafe:

This quick service dining option is located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort on the fourth floor, alongside Chef Mickey’s and a monorail view. Contempo Cafe is unique with its electronic ordering system, where you order and pay for your food at kiosks and pick up your meal at the pick-up station when it’s ready. Their food offerings include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, just like all the resort food courts, but this food is kicked up a notch in quality and creativity! Modern, healthy, and comfort food choices are available for your dining pleasure, and Cast Members here are especially helpful when it comes to accommodating allergy needs.

5) Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café:

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe is home to a variety of American food choices. The three food bays offer everything from Greek salads and sweet treats to chicken and veggie sandwiches. The possibilities are endless in this Tomorrowland food court. My favorite time to eat here is around 10pm when Wishes is about to start. Grab your food, pull up a chair to the window seat, and enjoy your dinner with a view!

4) Casey’s Corner:

For all my sports fans out there, do I have a treat for you! Casey’s Corner is an all-American, baseball-loving, ballpark themed quick service restaurant. You’ll sit in the stands as you watch classic sports clips from vintage Walt Disney cartoons as you snack on cracker jacks and sip Coca Cola. The all-time favorite snack here is the gourmet Casey’s hot dog, smothered in onions, relish, chili, ketchup, and mustard. Ah yes, I bet your mouth is watering right now. Next time you pay Walt Disney World a visit, stop by this Main Street favorite!

3) Flame Tree Barbecue:

I’m from North Carolina, born and bred, and let me tell you this: we know good barbecue. Flame Tree Barbeque is home to finger-licking, delicious food that you won’t want to miss. For those of you who have been to this rib and pulled-pork heaven, you’ll agree that it’s just as good as it sounds. (Not to mention the sweet aroma coming from the place.) Flame Tree Barbecue is located in the Animal Kingdom Park on Discovery Island. Aside from the classic turkey legs and pulled pork sandwiches, flame tree also offers healthy side options, including a fruit plate, cole slaw, and savory baked beans.

2) Sunshine Seasons:

Sunshine Seasons is my number one pick for “fast food” at Walt Disney World. Located in Epcot’s Future World Land pavilion, this food court has the healthiest and most diverse options of all the food courts in Walt Disney world in my opinion. Sunshine Seasons also serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so it’s open for you to enjoy fresh dishes all day! My personal favorite dish is the beet and goat cheese salad with candied pecans: it’s absolutely delicious as well as nutritious!

1) Satu’li Canteen:

The newest counter service hot spot is in Animal Kingdom’s Pandora – The World of Avatar. After your journey down river on Na’vi River Journey and flying on a banshee on Avatar Flight of Passage, the next best place to stop is Satu’li Canteen for a bite. The theming is a long ago an RDA (Resources Development Administration) mess hall that has now been decked out with a colorful array of Na’vi (Pandora natives) art and cultural items. You’ll find a great menu for lunch and dinner which consists of a choice of a bowl and/or pods. Create-Your-Own-Bowl by choosing one protein, one base, and one sauce. Two pod selections – vegetable curry pods or cheeseburger pods – are also delicious! Don’t forget to try their Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse and Chocolate Cake. Plus, Satu’li Canteen is the birthplace of the mobile ordering. Order and pay for your food from the MyDisneyExperience app and pick up your food when you arrive. It’s awesome!
