Fall at Walt Disney World is not only Halloween swallowing Magic Kingdom.
It also means EPCOT finally has a festival again. Anyone who has visited during one of the rare gaps between festivals knows how different that park feels without one. Booths gone, World Showcase quieter, and a big chunk of what makes a full EPCOT day worth it just missing.
That ends August 27, 2026, when the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival opens.
Fans have been waiting on one thing before they could actually plan. It landed today. Full menus are out.
This is the piece people needed, because Food & Wine is not a festival you improvise. Dozens of booths, hundreds of items, and a very real chance of filling up on something forgettable before you reach what you came for.
EPCOT Dates and the 30th Anniversary
The festival runs August 27 through November 21.
Long window, and this year it carries weight.
- 2026 marks 30 years of Food & Wine
- 30 items have returned or been reimagined from festival history
- Those are marked with a special 30th icon in the Foodie Guide
Longtime attendees should care about that lineup. Several returns go back to the earliest festivals, including the Potato Pierogi from 1996 at Poland and the Dumplings Trio from 1996 at China.
Six Booths Open Later
Here is the detail almost nobody catches, and it will absolutely wreck a trip.
- Festival Favorites: starting September 9
- The Wedge Hosted by Dairy Does More: September 18 through November 8
- Coastal Eats: starting October 2
- Earth Eats: starting October 2
- India: starting October 2
- The Alps: starting October 2
If a specific dish at one of those is your whole reason for going, do not book August.
Emile’s Fromage Montage Returns to EPCOT
The cheese stroll is back, and it is one of the better structured challenges here.
- Buy five eligible cheese items from Global Marketplaces
- Collect stamps in your Festival Passport
- Finish and head to Shimmering Sips for a festival treat
Eligible items carry a cheese icon in the Foodie Guide and sit all over the park, so it doubles as a reason to actually walk World Showcase.

Two Things Before You Go To EPCOT
Check which booths are open on your dates. Six of them open after the festival starts.
And if the anniversary items are the draw, hunt for the 30th icon in the Foodie Guide instead of trying to recall which dish debuted when.
Festival runs through November 21. Plenty of time. Also a lot of ground.
