10 Table Service Meals We Can’t Get Enough Of At Walt Disney World

Credit: Disney

Most guests make their Walt Disney World dining reservations months in advance, to make sure they are guaranteed spots at those coveted restaurants.  But, once you’ve made your reservations, how to sift through the plentiful meal options offered at every table service restaurant to arrive at a winner?  Well, hopefully this list will help you out!  Here are 10 table service meals that we’re sure you’ll love!  Of course, there are plenty more where these came from.  Take some time to discover your own favorites!

10. Pork Pot Stickers and Fried Wontons

Yak & Yeti in Animal Kingdom has dishes to keep vegetarians and carnivores alike satisfied – and here’s one menu item for each type of diner!  The pork pot stickers are a great start to a meal, and you’ll love the soy lime dipping sauce.  Finish off your meal with the Fried Wontons, and learn why this delectable dish of pineapple and cream cheese wonton skewers is one of our favorites!

9. Black Angus Rib-Eye and Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup

Our meals at Le Cellier in the Canada pavilion at Walt Disney World’s Epcot are all about the one-of-a-kind Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup!  We love the smoked bacon taste.  But, if you’re looking for more of a meal here, you can’t go wrong with the Black Angus Rib-Eye.  It comes with potatoes, spinach, fried capers and maple bordelaise – to have you feeling extra Canadian!

8. Black Sea Bass in Potato Scales

We love this creative offering at Monsieur Paul in Epcot as much for its visual appeal as for its taste!  The Black Sea Bass in Potato Scales consists of fish covered in scales made of potatoes, and it’s accompanied by a lovely buttery rosemary sauce.  It looks and tastes fantastic!

7. Queso Fundido

We were surprised to discover how much we love fried cheese! Queso Fundido, at La Hacienda de San Angel in the Mexico pavilion at Epcot, is so satisfying that it’s perfect as a meal, even though it’s listed as an appetizer.  The melted cheese comes with chorizo, peppers, avocado-tomato sauce, and tortillas for dipping.  Yum!

6. Seared Potato Gnocchi

This mouth-watering dish is perfect for vegetarians, but could well tempt the meat eaters in your party!  The Seared Potato Gnocchi from Wave…of American Flavors in Walt Disney World’s Contemporary Resort is simply delicious!  You’ll definitely want more of this Italian dish featuring forest mushrooms, sweet potatoes, swiss chard, and brown butter-parmesan sage cream.

5. Charred Strip Steak

We’re not sure what’s better than Four-Cheese Macaroni with Charred Strip Steak!  This favorite at Mama Melrose in Hollywood Studios has long been one of our staple meals on property!  You have to try it to believe how heavenly this delectable duo really is.  And don’t worry, no one will blame you if you don’t want to share.

4. Layered Ratatouille

We’ll take any excuse to visit Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom.  Luckily, the food here is as amazing as the Beauty and the Beast ambience!  Try the Layered Ratatouille if you’re looking for a healthy and hearty meal option.  You’ll find oven-baked zucchini, eggplant, mushrooms, tomatoes, and caramelized onions, all served atop quinoa and accompanied by a pepper sauce.  And for dessert, you’ll obviously want to sample the famous Grey Stuff!

3. Falls Family Falafel and Coconut Bar

When you get hungry during your next excursion to the Magic Kingdom, make a beeline for Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd Skipper Canteen, and order the Falls Family Falafel.  It’s chock full of the restaurant’s “secret” recipe, which we’re pretty sure includes chickpeas, garlic, onions, lemon juice and herbs.  The edamame hummus and toasted pumpkin seeds are great accompaniments!  And of course, no jungle meal would be complete without the yummy Coconut Bar with a surprising hint of basil.

2. Mac ‘N Cheese and Filet Mignon Sliders

If you’re looking for mac ‘n cheese with a bite, look no further than BOATHOUSE Restaurant in Disney Springs.  And don’t stop there!  After you’ve sampled the Mac ‘n Cheese, continue with the juiciest, most tender sliders you’ll ever taste!  And if you have room for dessert – and we hope you do – the Whiskey Caramel Cornbread Cake is a definite winner.

1. Organic Tomato Soup and Gooey Grilled Cheese and Lollipop Tree

For a tantalizing twist on a favorite, opt for the Organic Tomato Soup and Gooey Grilled Cheese at The Edison, at Disney Springs.  You’ll find a whopping four cheeses between the slices of buttered sourdough!  But for us, the best part of a meal at The Edison is dessert, in the form of a cheesecake Lollipop Tree, with bubblegum whipped cream.  It’s one of the most creative desserts on property!
