10 Strange Menu Items at Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World is known for its iconic entrees and Instagram-worthy Mickey-shaped snacks. From Quick Service kiosks to signature fine dining, Walt Disney World serves incredible menu options across its theme Park, resorts, and Disney Springs. However, with the incredible menu options of Disney also come some just plain STRANGE menu items. We’re sharing our top ten strange (and sometimes delicious) menu items that you can find at Walt Disney World.

10. Croque Glace at L’Artisan de Glaces

Starting out in EPCOT’s France Pavilion, the Croque Glace combines a brioche and ice cream in a way we never thought could make such a warm, delicious ice cream sandwich! Guests can pick a scoop of any flavor of ice cream, a choice of sauce, and a Cast Member grills it within a homemade brioche making the perfect sweet and savory snack combination!

9. Bahn Mi Hot Dog at The Lunching Pad

Don’t get us wrong, we love a good Bahn Mi sandwich, and we love a good hot dog, but combining the two?! Over at The Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland, you can order a hot dog topped with pickled vegetables, sriracha mayonnaise, and cilantro combined to make the Bahn Mi Hot Dog. How do you feel about this combination? Try it out in Tomorrowland, and let us know!

8. Maple Popcorn at the Canada Pavilion

In EPCOT’s Canada Pavilion, you can try out the iconic Maple Popcorn at the popcorn cart. This sweet and salty treat is one of our favorite strange Disney snacks.

7. Cheeseburger Steamed Pods Boa Buns at Satu’li Canteen

This strange Animal Kingdom Entree has quickly turned into a fan favorite amongst many. When visiting the world of Pandora, head to Satu’li Canteen and try out the Cheeseburger Steamed Pods. This unassuming entree fills delicious bao buns with a cheeseburger mixture, combining to make a unique savory dish.

6. Blue & Green Milk at Galaxy’s Edge Milk Stand

“Bright Suns, Travelers!” Use this Batuu greeting when you head to Star War’s Galaxy’s Edge to try Blue and Green Milk. These Batuu drinks are available at the Milk Stand, and we must admit, they’re a little strange… Both milks are a blend of coconut and rice milk, the Blue Milk has more fruity notes, and the Green Milk has more citrus and floral notes. The color isn’t the only strange thing about this drink; it has a slushy, partially frozen texture that some people love, and some people just can’t get behind.

5. Tie Dye Cheesecake at Everything POP Shopping & Dining

Have you ever seen Tie Dye Cheesecake? We have! You’ll find this strange and very colorful dessert at Disney’s Pop Century Resort’s Everything POP Shopping & Dining. It’s a fun choice, especially for Guests excited to see a dessert in all their favorite colors.

4. Pongu Lumpia at Pongu Pongu

At Pongu Pongu in Animal Kingdom’s Pandora, you’ll find the Pongu Lumpia, a strange treat that people seem to either love or hate. This sweet snack is a fried spring roll filled with pineapple-cream cheese and rolled in sugar. This snack offers a unique texture and flavor that some Guests can’t get enough of, and some despise.

3. Fuzzy Taun Taun at Oga’s Cantina

Oga’s Cantina in Star War’s Galaxy’s Edge is serving up all sorts of weird and wonderful galactic beverages, but maybe the strangest is the Fuzzy Taun Taun. This drink is made with Ketel One Botanical Peach & Orange Vodka, Bols Peach Schnapps Liqueur, Orange Juice with Tangerine, Pure Cane Sugar, and ‘Buzz Button Tingling’ Foam. The ‘Buzz Button Tingling’ Foam will cause your mouth to feel tingly and numb while enjoying this drink!

2. Hot Dog Eclair at End Zone Food Court

This strange and unexpected snack was recently released at All Star Sports Resort’s End Zone Food Court. At first glance you may think the Sweet Summertime Favorites was a classic hot dog and french fries. However, on further inspection you’ll find that this food imposter dish is actually an eclair with chocolate buttercream, served with sugar cookie “fries” and a raspberry dipping sauce “ketchup”. We love this strange menu item and hope it sticks around!

1. Pulled Pork Jelly Doughnut Sandwich at Eight Spoon Cafe

For our final strange Disney menu offering, we head back to Animal Kingdom to visit Eight Spoon Cafe in Discovery Island. This restaurant is serving up a pulled pork sandwich on a jelly doughnut! Now at first you may find this strange, but we think this unlikely combination of sweet and salty is a win. Try it out and let us know what you think!

Megan Losey

As a Disney foodie, I love writing about Disney food and snacks. Some of my favorites are the Carrot Cake Cookie from Trolley Car Cafe, the Mickey Beignets from Port Orleans French Quarter, and the Apple Blossom from Port Orleans Riverside. When I'm visiting the parks, you can find me on Main Street taking in the good vibe of Magic Kingdom or relaxing with a drink at the Polynesian watching the fireworks from the beach. As a previous Cast Member, I will always have a special place in my heart for the Magic Kingdom, especially Main Street U.S.A.
