3. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
The largest addition coming to Epcot’s Future World in upcoming years will be the highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Housed in the old Universe of Energy Pavilion, this attraction will be a high speed roller coaster that uses new technology to rotate guests at times so that they can change direction while rocketing along. While many details are still unknown for the attraction itself, guests do know that they will be able to enjoy a high speed launch backwards! Disney has yet to set an opening date, but rumors are swirling we can expect to take a ride on this one in 2022.
4. Journey of Water
The pathway leading from the central area of Future World to The Seas with Nemo and Friends Pavilion will also be undergoing a transformation in the upcoming years. This path will be brought to life with the Journey of Water experience that will roughly be based on the character Moana. While there are still few details available for this experience as well, it is known that guests will be able to directly interact with water in inventive ways.
5. Space 220
Mission: SPACE is a popular attraction in Epcot’s Future World that allows guests to either enjoy a serene orbit of the Earth or a thrilling adventure to Mars, depending on the Green or Orange Team. The France Pavilion will see the addition of the highly anticipated Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure where guests will board trackless cars shaped like mice and set off on an adventure with Remy. Featuring a combination of larger than life props and screens, this new experience was inspired by Ratatouille: L’Adventure Totalement Toquee de Remy in Disneyland Paris and is sure to be just as popular in Epcot.
