Are you ready for a rowdy meal? At Whispering Canyon Cafe, the Cast Members will rustle up some grub for you and your table, but beware, it will likely be served with some attitude.

You will find Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, a deluxe Magic Kingdom resort. The restaurant resides in the resort’s main lobby, just up the stairs by the main fireplace.

Whispering Canyon Cafe offers a Table Service dining experience. This means that the restaurant requires advanced dining reservations for Guests to dine. Reservations can be made online or through the My Disney Experience app up to 60 days before your visit.

This restaurant shares the log-cabin lodge feel of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Here, you’ll find wooden furnishings and large windows providing views of the forest and beautiful natural light. Meals are served in cast iron skillets, and refreshments in mason jars.

You can come hungry and leave happy for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! For breakfast and lunch, choose from The Heritage, The Carnivore, or The Lighter Side All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Skillets. (Please note that while skillets are large and All-You-Care-To-Enjoy, they are priced per person). If you’re leaning towards an entree instead of a skillet, try the Pepper Jack “Cheese” Frittata, Applewood-smoked Turkey Sandwich, Western-style Benedict, or “Jacked Up” Avocado Toast.

If you’re visiting for dinner, you can choose between four All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Skillets: The Traditional, The Pig, The Land and Sea, or Plant-based. Alternate entree options feature Char-crusted New York Strip, Pan-fired Red Quinoa Cakes, and Cedar Plank Salmon. Finish your meal with a delicious slice of Granny Smith Apple Pie or Whispering Canyon Pioneer Chocolate Cake.

The restaurant offers allergy-friendly skillets, starters, entrees, and desserts, but Guests must speak to a Cast Member upon arrival about their allergy request. Guests can find the complete menus on the My Disney Experience app.

Dining Tips

This dining experience is unique, so be prepared to handle a little sass served on the side of your barbecue. The Cast Members at Whispering Canyon Cafe love to “horse around” and have a fun time, maybe even pull a prank or two on you. So be sure to keep your wits and condiments about you as you dive into your delicious skillet.

Beginning on January 9, 2024, this dining location will accept the Disney Dining Plan. This means that Guests using the Disney Dining Plan during their vacation can redeem a Table Service meal credit here. Guests using the Disney Dining Plan still require an advanced dining reservation.

Additionally, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and Disney Visa Cardmembers receive a 10% discount at this location.
