From Disney Resort spots to the Parks to Disney Springs and more, there are plenty of places on Disney World property where you can kick back and enjoy a delicious beer. This article contains what you need to know about beer in the Parks at Walt Disney World Resort. You’ll learn some of our favorite spots to grab a cold one on your Disney vacation.

Best Places To Grab A Beer In Disney World

Are you wondering if there is anything beer-related worth checking out at Disney World? The answer is yes! In fact, you can walk around with beer at Disney World and enjoy it between attractions. You cannot take alcohol into a Walt Disney World Park, but you can buy alcohol in each Disney Park. While there is no alcohol package available to purchase at Disney World (I wish!), you can buy drinks individually at stands, restaurants, and lounges across the property.

Checking out the beer scene at Disney World is great for relaxation. After a long day of walking around the Parks, riding attractions, and dealing with the Florida heat, a cold beer can be a great way to relax and unwind. Plus, Disney World offers a wide variety of beers to choose from, whether you’re looking for traditional German beers at EPCOT’s Biergarten Restaurant or exotic brews at Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s Dawa Bar.

Speaking of EPCOT’s World Showcase, checking out the beer options at Disney World can be a cultural experience. Drinking beer at the World Showcase pavilions in EPCOT can be a great way to immerse yourself in the culture of the country you’re visiting.

If you are exploring yummy table service dining, a great beer pairing can enhance your dining experience. Having a beer can be a perfect complement to the food you are eating; it can enhance the flavors and make your dining experience more enjoyable.

Sampling beer at Disney World can also be a great way to make memories with friends and family. Whether you’re enjoying a beer at a casual outdoor bar or an elegant sit-down restaurant, the experience is sure to be one you’ll remember for years to come.

A common misconception about a Disney vacation is that it’s just for kids. That could not be farther from the truth, and the beer and cocktail scene at the Most Magical Place On Earth is an excellent example. Disney World is not just for kids and families. It is also a great place for adult fun and entertainment, and drinking beer is a way to enjoy some adult activities and make the most out of your vacation.

Where To Get Beer In The Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom was late to the beer game, first serving alcohol in 2012. The cost of beer in Disney Parks is a common question. You’ll find most Magic Kingdom brews ringing in at around $10 per 16oz. serving. Of course, Magic Kingdom may be known for its rides and attractions, but it also offers a variety of beer options. Some of the best places to find a cold brew at Magic Kingdom include:

Liberty Tree Tavern a colonial-style restaurant that offers a variety of beers as well as traditional American fare. The atmosphere is cozy and traditional, with a menu featuring roast turkey and pot roast dishes. Pair your meal with the Long Island-produced Blue Point Toasted Lager or a classic Samuel Adams seasonal brew for $10.50 each.

Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen is an Adventureland staple-themed restaurant that offers a variety of exotic beers and a selection of Asian and Latin-inspired dishes. The atmosphere is adventurous and exotic, with a menu featuring spicy stir-fry and curry dishes. We recommend trying the African-inspired dark ale on the beer menu. This drink is brewed specially for Disney Parks. Kungaloosh Spiced Excursion Ale is Florida brewed and served as a 16-oz draft for $10.25.

My Favorite Spots To Enjoy A Beer At Disney World

It should be no surprise that my favorite beer spots at Disney World are in my favorite Park, EPCOT! EPCOT is home to World Showcase, which features pavilions representing different countries worldwide. Each pavilion offers its unique dining and drinking experiences, and many of them feature a variety of beers from the country they represent.

Be sure to visit the German Pavilion for quick service beer and pretzels. If you are looking for a sit-down dining experience you should try the Biergarten Restaurant. This traditional German restaurant features a variety of German beers on tap, as well as a selection of German wines and schnapps. The atmosphere is lively and traditional, with live music, and you can enjoy a traditional German Buffet.

The Rose & Crown Pub in the United Kingdom pavilion is a must-visit. This British pub offers a variety of beers from the UK, as well as traditional pub fare. The atmosphere is cozy and classic, with a fireplace and wooden decor. The menu features fish and chips, bangers and mash, and shepherd’s pie.

On the far side of World Showcase you’ll find the Canadian Pavilion and my favorite Disney steak spot,  Le Cellier Steakhouse. This Canadian steakhouse offers a selection of Canadian beers and a variety of Canadian wines. The atmosphere is upscale and elegant, with a menu featuring Canadian-inspired dishes such as maple-glazed salmon and Canadian cheddar cheese soup.

Beer drinkers visiting the Italian Pavilion should visit Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar. This wine cellar also offers a selection of Italian beers and a variety of small plates to pair with your drinks. The atmosphere is cozy and rustic, with a variety of Italian wines and beers to choose from.

Beer In Animal Kingdom & Hollywood Studios

Animal Kingdom Park is known as a fun, but hot Park. If you need a cold beverage between attraction hopping, try any of these yummy drink spots. Suppose you are near Kilimanjaro Safari in the Africa section of the Park, head to Dawa Bar to snag an African beer you have never tasted before.

If you have a bit more time to relax and unwind, I suggest a visit to Nomad Lounge, located in the Asia section of the Park, which offers a selection of beers, wines, and cocktails, as well as small plates of food. The Mara, a quick service restaurant in the African section of the Park, serves a variety of beers, including imported and domestic beers, as well as wines and cocktails.

If you are searching for a cold beer during a day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I have a great recommednation. On the shores of Echo Lake you will find at BaseLine Tap House. This spot is one of my favorite places for delicious small bites and drinks during the day after hopping between Slinky Dog Dash and Star Tours.

Snag a Coffee-rubbed Rib-Eye Beef Puff to pair with one of their fifteen craft beer on tap. Choose from Golden Road Hefeweizen brewed in Los Angeles, California, or the Stone Delicious IPA from San Diego, California. Truthfully, there are no bad selections on this menu, and the Cast Members at this spot can answer questions and guide you to suggestions based on your preferences.

My choice from BaseLine Tap House is easily the Create-Your-Own Beer Flight. For $12 you can create a tasting flight of 5 oz. pours of four beers from this menu. If you are visiting with a buddy, you can each snag four different tastes and share sips of eight different flavors. Talk about a fun way to break from the Park day – this is it!

How Much Does It Cost To Go To Disney World

Does the beer scene at Walt Disney World Resort merit a visit? If you are ready to book a Park ticket, you should know that ticket prices vary by season according to Guest demand. You will need to hop on the Disney World website to explore ticket costs at any of the Parks you want to visit. Or you could secure a Park Hopper ticket to see multiple Parks in a day and enjoy drinks in each.

Don’t forget to make a Park reservation after purchasing your ticket to ensure you are ready for the magic! When is the cheapest time to visit Disney World? Generally, slower crowds can be found when school is in session and no major holidays or events are happening. September or February are my favorite slower months to visit Disney World.

With all the money you save by visiting during off-peak times, you can roll more cash into eating and drinking around the world at EPCOT or trying new-to-you beers. Have fun, and remember to drink responsibly. Cheers!

About Katie Chapman

Hey There! I am a Georgia native with a passion for writing, traveling, cooking, decorating, pugs and of course all things Disney. Growing up in South Georgia just a few hours from Walt Disney World made for a magical childhood. Some of my best memories were made on Main Street U.S.A. with my sister watching SpectroMagic nighttime parade or beside my grandparents, parents and extended family at Chef Mickey’s celebrating on a family vacation. Epcot was my favorite park from a young age and I credit it with my interest in and love for international travel. As a kid I loved meeting characters and watching films around World Showcase and could spend hours exploring each of the countries in Epcot. These days, my husband and I get away to explore a new country whenever we can and even incorporate trips to The Disney Store and Disney Parks around the world in our travels. One of our travel goals is to visit every Disney Park in the world. I love writing about Disney restaurants, park tips, Disney outfit inspiration and Disney history. Pocahontas is my favorite Disney Princess (90s kid here!) but Mr. Toad is my spirit animal. When I’m not at Disney I’m reading about park history, watching Disney documentaries and shopping vintage Disney merch for park outfits. I never pass up a reservation to Ohana, an empty seat on Living with the Land or a Violet Sake.
