We’ve stumbled across an adorable Airbnb listing for a home in Brisbane, Australia, that brings Disney’s Bluey to dazzling real life–and we could almost promise we saw Bluey, Bingo, Chilli, and Bandit looking at us from the windows in the home.
Someone must really love Disney’s children’s show Bluey, as there’s a house in Brisbane, Australia, that fans will identify as the Heeler home from miles away. The two-bedroom, three-bed, one-bath home is more specifically located in Brisbane City, Queensland, Australia, and from the outside, it is nearly identical to the house where the Heeler family lives their daily adventures in Disney’s Bluey.

The listing reads as follows:
Nestled on a quiet, tree-lined street in one of Brisbane’s most picturesque neighborhoods – the city that inspires the show’s colorful backdrop – sits the real-life version of the iconic Heeler home.
There are lots of familiar touches like the red letterbox, bone-shaped chimney, and bay window. Inside, kiddos can snuggle up for sleepytime in Bluey and Bingo’s bedroom with Floppy and Grey Dancer or invent a game or two in the girls’ playroom with its rainbow canopy, kiwi rug, and toys – including beloved Polly Puppy and Chattermax.
The backyard is a verdant oasis for family fun, with a BBQ, kid-sized trampoline, Grannie’s car, custom toadstool seats, and dog garden gnomes (Gerald’s there–but alas, no Hecuba). Yummy snacks can be found in the fully stocked kitchen, including Bandit’s famous duck cake.
Brace yourself for a weekend of family games and make-believe because one family living in Australia will be able to book the exclusive two-night stay at the Heeler’s home.
This listing goes on to note a few house rules:
- A game of musical statues to the Bluey theme song is recommended on arrival
- Please keep sticky geckos off the ceiling
- Be sure to take some adventurous snaps with Bob Bilby
- Maximum two adults and two children can stay at the house for the overnight weekend stay
- No pets allowed – especially emus named Shaun!
Other touches around the adorable Bluey-inspired Airbnb include details found in the kitchen, as well as the patio in the backyard. Who wouldn’t want to stay in such a cute house that truly makes guests feel like they’re staying in the Heeler household?
There’s only one sad thing about the entire house, and it’s a really sad thing. The Airbnb listing shows the nightly price as $6, which we knew just couldn’t be the case. Further digging–or scrolling, as it were–led us to the realization that only one family was lucky enough to get to spend a weekend in the Heeler home.
It’s not clear whether this house was used as part of a promotional offer related to the Bluey franchise or if it was offered by an individual or a family as a “feeler” for how the public might respond to such an offer.
Either way, it’s clear that mounds of work went into creating the adorable house–from the inside out–and we’re just sure that it wouldn’t have been created solely for the use of one family on one weekend. So we’re keeping our eyes and ears open for its next opening. (We’ll let you know if we get to book the house for ourselves!)
