Walt Disney World Resort comprises of four theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and Animal Kingdom.
Each Disney Park offers a totally unique vibe, ambiance, and array of attractions. But there’s no doubt about Animal Kingdom being the wildest addition to Walt Disney World Resort.
Animal Kingdom has everything from live animals to dazzling entertainment to exciting attractions.
Rides such as Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, Avatar Flight of Passage, and DINOSAUR leave Guests thrilled and ready for more. But Animal Kingdom’s star attraction is its Kilimanjaro Safaris.
Kilimanjaro Safaris takes Guests onto an open-aired safari truck as they travel through Disney’s Harambe Wildlife Reserve. On this safari, Guests have the chance to see real animals such as giraffes, zebras, elephants, and even lions.
Unlike Magic Kingdom’s Jungle Cruise, which utilizes animal audio-animatronics, Animal Kingdom’s Kilimanjaro Safaris is full of real animals. As a result, every encounter with an animal at this attraction is the real deal.
Recently, some very lucky Guests got to see some of Animal Kingdom’s most prominent residents up close and personal during their visit to the Harambe Wildlife Reserve:
In this video, two rhinos spot the safari vehicle and take a particular interest, getting even closer to the truck. The original poster asks, “Are we safe?” seeing as the rhinos are incredibly close. But one fan discloses that they’re perfectly safe in the comments, writing,
“That’s Logan and her momma Lola. Sometimes the babies will get excited about the trucks and wanna inspect.”
Not only does the baby rhino inspect, he intercepts the truck to ensure he’ll have even more time to inspect. Truly, it doesn’t get any wilder than this!
