Sistahs! Gather round! We are almost two weeks into September and we can feel the creeps setting in as we prepare for Halloween season! The bats have taken to the skies, the cauldrons are bubbling, the brooms are ready, and Disney’s new film, Hocus Pocus 2 is just weeks away from premiering on Disney+!
On September 30, Hocus Pocus 2 will premiere on Disney+. The story will see Winifred, Mary, and Sarah Sanderson return to Salem — the city that has buried them more than once. The original film saw Bette Midler as Winifred Sanderson, Kathy Najimy as Mary Sanderson, and Sarah Jessica Parker as Sarah Sanderson. The three women will return as the wickedly funny Sanderson sisters. They will be back, set on vengeance, and ready to suck the lives out of the children of Salem!
And now we have some even more fun and exciting news for you! The D23 Expo — the ultimate Disney fan event — is taking place this weekend in Anaheim, California. A ton of new information is being released, including the official trailer for Hocus Pocus 2!

Hocus Pocus 2 will not only tell the story of three young teenage girls who bring the Sanderson sisters back from the grave. Viewers will also get a look at what the Sanderson sisters were like growing up. Have you always wondered how they became the soul sucking sisters you love to hate?
Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker are not the only original cast returning for the sequel. Doug Jones will also return to his role as Billy Butcherson! Sadly, Max, Allison, and Dani — the three protagonists from the first film — will not be in the sequel.
Hocus Pocus 2 will also star Belissa Escobedo as Izzy, Whitney Peak as Becca, and Lilia Buckingham as Cassie — the girls responsible for the return of the sisters. Tony Hale will star in the film as Mayor Trader and Sam Richardson will play a man named Gilbert.
We also know who will be playing the Sanderson sisters when they were children. Taylor Henderson will play young Winifred, Juju Journey Brenner will play young Sarah, and Nina Kitchen will play young Mary.
Again, Hocus Pocus 2 will premiere on Disney+ on September 30.
