Universal Orlando Brings Back Rare Meet and Greet for Limited Time

Wicked fans, get ready—because a magical reunion has just landed at Universal Studios Florida. Elphaba and Glinda, the spellbinding duo from Wicked, are back for a special meet and greet that’s only sticking around for a short time.

Guests visiting Universal Studios Florida now through August 10 will have the chance to meet the iconic witches from the Land of Oz inside Wicked: The Experience, located near the front of the park. Elphaba, dressed in her familiar black attire and signature pointed hat, is joined by Glinda, floating in with her bubbly charm and sparkling pink gown. It’s a picture-perfect encounter for fans of Broadway, the Wicked films, or anyone who loves a little magic.

There’s no posted schedule for their appearances, so guests are encouraged to check early during their park day. The meet and greet is set up right outside the attraction, making it easy to spot—but it’s bound to be popular, so arriving early might be your best bet.

The return of these fan-favorite characters follows a spring casting call from Universal and lines up with the growing excitement for the second part of the Wicked film series, Wicked: For Good, which is scheduled to hit theaters on November 21, 2025. With stars like Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande leading the cast, interest in all things Wicked is reaching new heights—and Universal is clearly leaning into that excitement.

This isn’t the first time Elphaba and Glinda have made an appearance in the parks. They were last spotted at Universal Studios Florida in the fall, shortly after Wicked: The Experience opened. The duo has also made appearances at Universal parks in Hollywood and Japan during special events, but their presence in Orlando is still a rare treat.

So whether you’re a lifelong fan of Wicked, new to the Emerald City, or just excited to snap a unique photo with two of the most beloved witches in pop culture, this is one experience you won’t want to miss. But don’t wait—just like a great musical number, this meet and greet won’t be around forever.
