Speaking as a 19 year old girl, I can definitely say that I turn into a little girl again when I step through the entrance of Walt Disney World. Everything about the magic of this happy place, will bring out the little girl in all of us. Here are a few of my favorite things that you and your daughter will love to do at the Disney theme parks and resorts.

10) Charm Bracelets:
Girls love to accessorize, so why not do it Disney style? At most of the larger Walt Disney World gift shops, (especially at the Resorts), you can find charm bracelet/necklace making stations. You pick your favorite chain to hold your charms, and from there you can pick charms to add on, making it uniquely yours with all of your personalized favorites.
9) Starbucks:
I have yet to meet a girl who doesn’t enjoy a good Starbucks drink every once in a while. Walt Disney World now has multiple Starbucks locations: Future World in Epcot, Main Street USA in Magic Kingdom, and two in Downtown Disney. Before the parks added Starbucks there was no place to get specialty coffees, so now you can find your “non-fat, vanilla latte” right there in the world of Disney.

8) Shopping:
Walt Disney World is home to many attractions, including rides, shows, characters, restaurants, and more, but what you may not realize is that it is a thriving shopping metropolis. Everywhere you go, there’s a 99% chance that there’s a gift shop. The exit of each ride leads to a store full of themed souvenirs from the ride. Some restaurants have souvenirs for sale within their walls. And what girl doesn’t love to shop? Walt Disney World is the perfect place to find a wide variety of clothing, home décor, pins, and just about anything else you could want, so that you can bring a piece of Disney home with you.
7) Enchanted Tales with Belle:
A new addition that was introduced with the New Fantasyland inside Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park, is Enchanted Tales with Belle. This interactive story, told by Belle herself, will invite you and your family into the story of Beauty and the Beast. Upon entering Belle’s home cottage, you will feel as if you are actually part of her life story, going from the town misfit to princess. The story continues as you are transported to Beast’s library where the tales with Belle continue!
6) Watching Beauty and the Beast Live On-Stage:
Even at age nineteen, I still get goose bumps when watching this performance. It’s so heartwarming to see girls on the edge of their seat, singing along to their favorite songs that they have know since they were little. Included in park admission, you and your daughter will love experiencing this Broadway-caliber show, where all the characters from Beauty and the Beast entertain you through song and dance in this shortened version of the movie.

5) Dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table:
For an extra special experience, treat your daughter to a meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table. Here she will be greeted by Cinderella during her dining experience. Upon entering Cinderella’s castle, where this prix fare restaurant is located, you little girl will get to take a picture with Cinderella herself! There are even more ways to make her dining experience magical, including “The Royal Highness” package: a jewel-filled tiara, complimentary balloon, and a delicious dessert fit for a princess.
4) Tea Party:
At Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, you and your daughter can attend a “My Disney Girl’s Perfectly Princess Tea Party” where one adult and one child can dine like royalty at the Garden View Tea Room. Here, you’ll both get the royal treatment as you taste authentic British cuisine, including herbal teas, dainty sandwiches, and desserts. During your tea time, storytelling, parades, and sing-alongs will take place. Your daughter will also receive a few parting gifts to remember her special tea time with mom!

3) Spa Experience:
Walt Disney World is home to two, full, onsite Senses Spas at The Grand Floridian and Saratoga Springs Resorts. All of the deluxe resorts have spa services available, as well as a few of the moderate resorts, but the Senses Spas are the only full service ones. The Senses Spas offer a wide variety of massages, wraps, treatments, facials, and other beauty services. They even offer “princess pedicures” for your little girl, so that she too can have the princess pampering treatment!
2) Character Meet and Greets:
There’s no greater joy than seeing a little girl meet their favorite princess for the first time. I remember the first time I ever saw a Disney character. It was as if all my dreams had come true. Every Disney movie I had ever seen up to that moment had come to life. There’s nothing quite like it. Walt Disney World has many meet and greet areas and times. Just check your times guide and map to make it easy for you and your little girl to find and visit with the princesses!
1) Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique:

For any girl who loves to play dress-up, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique takes it to a whole new level. Your little girl will get to put on their favorite princess outfit and get their hair and makeup done, making her feel just like a princess. Packages start at around fifty dollars and go up from there, so you can make your daughter’s day extra special without having to put a huge dent in your wallet.
