Top 5 Reasons They Should Let Me Live in Cinderella’s Castle

A few years ago my family had the opportunity to tour the Cinderella Castle Suite—we didn’t get to spend the night, but we did get to check out the fantastic accommodations that Cinderella offers to her special guests. From the starry sky over the bathtub to the magical fireplace and televisions to the views of the Magic Kingdom, I knew right then and there that this was the place for me.   So, I present you with the top 5 reasons they should let me live in Cinderella’s Castle:

5. I could take my morning jog around the Magic Kingdom

I love that feeling of being one of the first people in the parks. How awesome would it be to take your morning walk, jog or run around the parks while all of the crews are finishing up the cleaning for a new day’s memories? I would even be willing to help out in exchange for my room and board. The best times to do this would be right as they are changing over from the fall to the Christmas decorations right around the first of November. To see them work that overnight magic would be amazing.

4. My daily Starbucks run would be on Main Street, USA

Instead of schlepping through the drive thru of my local Starbucks I could stroll right down the middle of Main Street USA to pick up my morning caffeine fix. A much nicer commute if you ask me.

3. Pumpkin is one of my favorite flavors

Naturally, the person who lives in the Castle suite should relate to Cinderella as I’m sure we would be seeing a lot of each other. Since she used a pumpkin for her coach, she must be as fond of them as I am. We could have pumpkin muffins, pumpkin bread, and roasted pumpkin seeds to eat, and we could go down to that Starbucks together for that seasonal Pumpkin latte. Not to mention the pumpkin spice scented candles we could burn in the fall.

2. I could be Tinker Bell

I’m a fairly petite person, so I am sure that I could pull of the Tinker Bell zip line gig during Wishes. I do have a slight fear of heights that I would have to get over, plus the fear of thrill rides (and I would assume that zip lining from the top spire of Cinderella Castle over to a rooftop on Main Street/Tomorrowland would be similar to a thrill ride). But, in exchange for the sweetest spot in the World I think I could do it. Plus, the view of Wishes from Tink’s landing spot is probably pretty nice.

1. The shoe fits

On our tour of the Castle Suite we got to see Cinderella’s glass slipper in the case. Our guide told us it is a ladies size 5. Well guess what size shoe yours truly wears? Yep—a 5! So, just like Prince Charming searching for his dance partner, if you are looking to fill the Castle Suite with a permanent resident I would think that if the shoe fits . . .

I’m sure I am not the only person who would like to live in Cinderella Castle–why do you think they should allow you to live there?

About Sarah Chapman

I am a long time Disney fan since I was hooked on Walt Disney World with my first trip in 1987. Since that time I’ve tried experiencing everything I can in the parks, with a total of 30 visits and counting (I’m always planning my next trip) to Walt Disney World—not to mention Disney Cruise Line and even (shhh!) Universal Orlando and Sea World. I’ve turned my Disney obsession into a profession helping others plan their magical vacations as a Dream Vacation Maker at LBAC Travel. I am a work at home mom to three wonderful boys, and each one has been properly indoctrinated with all things Disney. Walt Disney World is definitely our “Laughing Place.” Look for me on Facebook at Facebook.com/SarahLBAC for updates, discount announcements, tips, tricks and planning advice for your next vacation.
