Mickey Mouse was created in 1928 on a long train ride by a distressed, but not defeated, Walt Disney. Mickey made his film debut in Plane Crazy and has been wildly popular ever since. 1. Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort
As if the beautiful rooftop dining at Topolino’s Terrace in Disney’s Riviera Resort isn’t wonderful enough, guests dining during breakfast have a chance to see Mickey and friends (Minnie, Donald, and Daisy) in their artistic outfits! Mickey is dressed in his painting outfit for this excellent dining and photo op.
2. Adventurer’s Outpost at Discovery Island, Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Meet Mickey in his adorable Camping outfit. This is the one he wore at Camp Minnie Mickey and in the Jammin’ Jungle Parade that are no longer in operation. This outpost is not the best backdrop for them, but the outfits are so cute they kind of make up for it. During the Holidays, Mickey and Minnie have been known to show up here in colorful Christmas sweaters and Santa hats.
3. Chef Mickey’s at the Contemporary Resort
This is a character meal starring Mickey in his Chef outfit. Donald, Goofy, Minnie and Pluto are dresses appropriately in their cooking outfits also. This is a buffet meal and you will see the characters do a parade and then come around to each table to meet guests and you can take photos with them.
4. Hard Ticket Part Events at Magic Kingdom
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party gives guests to this hard-ticket event a chance to meet Mickey in his best Halloween costume at the Town Square Theater. During Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party you will find Mickey decked out in a festive Holiday outfit of red pants, black tails, green bow tie, a red top hat, and a red and green plaid vest and matching neck scarf.
5. Garden Grill Restaurant in Epcot’s Future World
Mickey the Farmer greets guests here in blue denim overalls, brown boots, and a yellow plaid shirt. The food does not disappoint at this character meal, nor does Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale. Mickey’s costume is perfect at this eatery that focuses on using food grown here at the Land pavilion and the views of the farm scene that you see as the restaurant rotates slowly while you eat.

6. Donald’s Safari Breakfast at Tusker House in Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Tusker House does indeed have Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy in Safari outfits. Mickey is wearing a safari hat, a vest with lots of pockets, blue shirt, khaki shorts with lots of pockets and a cross-body bag. The characters do a little parade as well as visit the tables to meet their guests. The food is good and this is one of the most popular character meals at Walt Disney World.
7. Town Square Theater on Main Street U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom
Meet Magician Mickey backstage. Check out all the props he has there for his Magic Show. Signs for Mickey the Magnificent, his collection of top hats and wands, cards for his tricks, and a formal suit he wears onstage create a believable backstage area. Mickey is here every day, for almost the entire time the park is open. You can also get a FP+ to meet him.
8. Ohana Character Meal at Polynesian Village Resort
Ohana is the home to perhaps the best breakfast character meal at Walt Disney World. The food is amazing and served family style with all-you-care-to-eat. Lilo and Stitch are there along with Pluto, and Mickey is dressed in a red and white Hawaiian print shirt and tan pants.
9. Sorcerer Mickey at Red Carpet Dreams in Hollywood Studios
Here’s your chance to meet Sorcerer Mickey! Mickey sports his classic Fantasia outfit while Minnie is dazzling in her red carpet best. We love this spot for great photos, autographs, and typically short wait times!
