Three Amazing Enchanting Extras Return to EPCOT

EPCOT has always been a place where education takes center stage. No one does “edutainment” quite like EPCOT. From rides that put you directly in the story to international festivals and cultural representatives from around the world to educate and inspire- EPCOT truly sparks the imagination. Enchanting Extras (separately ticketed specialty tours and encounters) are where this Park shines. 

Since the closure due to Covid in 2020, these events have been slow to return, but we are so excited to announce that three extremely popular Enchanting Extras will be returning to captivate guests on October 2, 2022, just in time for the Parks 40th anniversary! 

Behind the Seeds

For fans of Living With the Land and for backyard growers everywhere, this tour is a must-do! The one-hour walking tour gives guests an up close and personal look at crops from around the world. During the tour, you’ll learn firsthand about innovative farming techniques and how EPCOT is leading the charge in sustainable growing practices. The sights, smells, and tastes of this experience make this tour a must-do! Bonus: at just $35 per person, it’s also one of the most affordable tours offered anywhere at Walt Disney World! 

EPCOT Seas Adventures– DiveQuest

Did you know that the 5.7-million-gallon saltwater environment at The Seas With Nemo and Friends pavilion is one of the largest indoor saltwater tanks in the world? This, coupled with the incredible marine life and calm waters, makes it the perfect environment for a diving adventure! Guests who are SCUBA-certified can explore the tank in a way very few guests ever get to- from the inside. DiveQuest is truly a bucket list experience that should be on every ocean lover’s itinerary. 

EPCOT Seas Adventures – Dolphins in Depth

Those guests who aren’t SCUBA certified aren’t left out of the aquatic fun! During “Dolphins in Depth” you’ll get the chance to meet the fun-loving dolphins of EPCOT up close and learn about these lovable sea mammals first hand from EPCOT’s expert trainers and handlers. Best part? You’ll spend 30 minutes of this 2 hour experience actually in the water with these amazing creatures! 

Are you as excited as we are? We’ve done many Enchanting Extras at EPCOT over the years, including Behind the Seeds but we have never done Dolphins in Depth. This feels like a sign that it’s time to hop in and make a splash! Booking for these tours begins August 22, 2022.
