These Experiences Should DEFINITELY Be On Your Disney Bucket List

Disney bucket list

I don’t know about you, but my Disney bucket list is a mile long! Some things I’ve checked off the list, some are still waiting to be fulfilled. A Disney Bucket list is something I think everyone needs, and if you’re searching for things for your list, I’ve got you covered! Here are a few things that I think should be on everyone’s list:

Stay in a Deluxe Resort

This is probably the simplest item to check off the list, it’s as easy as booking a hotel reservation. Disney Deluxe Resorts offer upscale theming and amenities that you just won’t find at value or moderate resorts. Here you’ll find some of the best pools, finest dining, and most well appointed rooms on property. These resorts are fabulous for those trips when we want to take it easy and feel just a little bit indulged…. just don’t ask me to pick a favorite. I love them all!

Visit 4 Parks in One Day

This is one of my favorite things I have ever done! There’s just something exhilarating about the rush of trying to fit so much into one day. It’s not something I’d want to do every trip but, it’s a nice feather in the cap. We set out rules in advance to make it a challenge and had a blast rushing around trying to “win” the day. Our feet were sore but our hearts were happy and in the end isn’t that really all it’s about?

Eat at Victoria and Alberts

This is one that I have yet to check off my list. One of these days I will get to dine here, until then I’ll just dream about it. This is the only restaurant in the state of Florida to have earned both AAA’s Five Diamond and Forbe’s Five Star awards. If they met the qualifications, there would be no doubt that Victoria and Alberts would be Michelin rated as well, sadly they’re outside the area for this particular prestige. This restaurant has a strict dress code and age limit (8 and up) with a price tag to match, but it is an experience you’ll never forget!

Experience a tour

There are many different tours you can take at Disney World and all of them are amazing. Your preferences and budget are the only  limit– from group tours to private VIP tours if you can dream at Disney World offers it. I’ve only just dipped my toes in the world of tours but my experience was outstanding! We did the DestiNations Discovered tour at Epcot and learned so much about our beloved World Showcase! We even got to go backstage and see behind the scenes, including the festival kitchen where all of those delightful goodies you eat at EPCOT’s food booths are prepared!

Be Evacuated From a Ride

Before you go thinking that I’m crazy, I truly think being evacuated deserves a place on this list and let me tell you why: a bucket list by definition should be full of unique experiences that you may only ever get once in your lifetime. By this broad definition, being evacuated from one of the rides would fit the bill. It is certainly unique and it would give you the opportunity to see parts of some of your favorite rides that you might never get to see otherwise. Most of the time evacuations  take you onto the ride stage itself and out through a back entrance where you will see backstage. I for one, I really want to experience this!

This is by far not an exhaustive list, my Disney bucket list goes for miles! What did I miss that’s on your bucket list? Let me know in the comments. I’m always looking to add to my own!

About Jill Bivins

Jill Bivins has been visiting Disney Parks since she was 2 years old and loves sharing her Disney adventures with the world. She likes to say Disney is in her blood and writing is in her bones — so any time she has the opportunity to combine these loves she is one happy camper! She has a deep abiding love for Epcot and as a die hard Star Wars fan has a serious love for Hollywood Studios as well. When she isn't exploring or writing about Disney Parks, Jill is homeschooling her 8 year old son, playing with her brand new baby son, or pretending to be a farmer on her family homestead (despite being unable to keep even a cactus alive).
