You can find The Mara at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of Jambo House, nearby the Resort’s Uzima Spring Pool.
Quick Service or Table Service?
The Mara is a Quick Service dining location. This means that Guests don’t need a reservation to dine here. Due to the restaurant’s popularity, Disney’s Mobile Order feature is available for Guests. Mobile Order allows you to place your order ahead using the My Disney Experience app before you arrive at the dining location. Once your order is ready, you’ll be notified and can then pick up your order with little to no wait. This feature is awesome for Guests ordering food poolside.

This restaurant is named after The Mara River that flows through Kenya and Tanzania, with safari-themed decor and seating area. The restaurant offers a cafeteria-style space for Guests to order food from various stations. The restaurant offers ample indoor, air-conditioned seating, and outdoor seating is offered near the Uzima Spring Pool.

This restaurant offers both classic entrees and grab-and-go options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night dining. The breakfast menu features Mickey-shaped Waffles, the Savannah Platter, and Bacon and Gruyère Quiche. Lunch and dinner options include specialties like the Chermoula-spiced Shrimp Bowl, the Signature-blend Cheddar Burger, the South African Vegetable Bowl, the Marrakesh Falafel Platter, or assorted Flatbreads. Late-night dining options include Flatbreads, grab-and-go snacks and sandwiches, and featured desserts like the famous Zebra Domes, the Nyala Brownie, or the Carrot Cake Cheesecake Tart. Dining Tips
In addition to offering Mobile Order, beginning January 9, 2024, this location will also accept both Disney Dining Plans. This means that Guests using the Disney Dining Plan or the Quick Service Dining Plan can redeem Quick Service meal and snack credits at The Mara.
