Location
Tamu Tamu Refreshments is located in the African Harambe Village, right at the village’s entrance. You’ll find it across from the Dawa Bar and close by to Mahindi, another Quick Service snack kiosk. In Harambe Village Guests will also find popular attractions including Kilimanjaro Safaris, Festival of the Lion King, and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trails.

Tamu Tamu Refreshments is a Quick Service dining location, which means Guests don’t need a dining reservation to eat at this restaurant. This is a popular snack location as one of the few Animal Kingdom dining locations offering Dole Whip, so you’ll want to avoid peak dining hours where the restaurant can gather large crowds.
Atmosphere
This restaurant is one of the best in Africa to grab a snack and relax in the shade. Tamu Tamu Refreshments offers ample outside seating, much of it shaded to block the sun. This is a great location if you’re looking to take a break from your busy park day. Since Tamu Tamu is located at the entrance to Africa, it offers beautiful views of Animal Kingdom’s waterway and the Tree of Life.

Menu Options
Tamu Tamu Refreshments offers a breakfast and a snack menu, serving breakfast from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and snacks from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. The breakfast menu features the Colossal Mickey Cinnamon Roll, the Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit, and the Guava and Cream Cheese Danish. Breakfast beverages include Joffrey’s Coffee, hot cocoa, tea, and juice. The snack menu includes the iconic pineapple Dole Whip and Dole Whip Float. There’s also unique dessert options like the Simba Sunset, pineapple Dole Whip with strawberry, and the Pineapple Crisp Sundae. Refreshing beverages include the pineapple Dole Whip Float with Parrot Bay Rum or the King’s Cooler, a pineapple Dole Whip topped with Parrot Bay Rum and strawberry.
