Snowfall is Extemely Rare at This Disney Park, But It Happened!
Snowfall is rare at many of Disney’s theme parks, including the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Paris, but on Thursday, a magical snowfall left its beautiful mark across the Disneyland Paris Resort.
The first snowfall of 2024 in Paris fell on Thursday as part of a cold weather system in the country. The system brought with it a dusting of beautiful, dreamy white snow
The year’s first snowfall in Paris, which is part of a cold weather system in France, delivered fresh, white snow magically dusted across the park’s iconic structures, including Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant (Sleeping Beauty Castle). The effects of the rare snowfall could also be seen on the structures that house the many attractions at the resort.

Throughout the year, the city of Paris, France, receives very little snow as a rule. There have been many years recently during which the city saw no snow. As such, snowfall at Disneyland Paris is not a regular occurrence–and one worth sharing.
On Thursday, after a couple of inches of snow dusted the theme parks at Disneyland Paris through the night, cast members were able to capture photos of the parks’ snow-covered attractions and iconic structures, including Big Thunder Mountain, Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, Phantom Manor, and others.
The snow seemed almost like a celebration of an exciting upcoming time at the resort. It happened just days before the beautiful five-star Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Paris reopens to guests on January 25.
Earlier this month, another Disney Parks resort was graced with a magical snowfall as well–and the photos are gorgeous! You can see them here.
