Rude Guest Causes Chaos at Epic Universe Before Its Grand Opening

Universal’s Epic Universe is one of the most anticipated theme park openings in recent years, and with good reason. Located at Universal Orlando Resort, Epic Universe promises to transport guests into five immersive worlds, including SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic.

With so many exciting attractions and rich, detailed environments to explore, it’s no surprise that fans have been eagerly awaiting the park’s grand opening.

However, as exciting as the preview events have been, not all of the attention surrounding Epic Universe has been positive. In fact, some guests have already shown that not everyone knows how to behave in a theme park setting.

As with any highly anticipated event, exclusive previews for Universal Orlando Annual Passholders, team members, and the media have brought some visitors with less-than-ideal behavior.

One recent incident has sparked outrage among guests and prompted many to question the behavior of one particularly rude individual. And it all went down at SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, long before the park even officially opened its doors to the general public.

TikTok Video Captures the Incident

TikTok user giseldontcare (also known as @GISEL) was one of the lucky passholders who had access to the park before its official opening. During her visit, she posted a video that captured an altercation between a guest and a Universal team member.

In the TikTok video, which has since gone viral, Gisel shares the moment when a guest in the Single Rider line for Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge began arguing with a team member after cutting into the line.

The video reveals that the guest had initially been in the regular standby queue, but in an attempt to bypass the line, he crawled under the barricades and into the Single-Rider line, thinking it would move faster. When he realized that the regular standby line was moving quicker than the Single-Rider line, the guest began shouting at the team member in frustration.

What makes this situation even more shocking is that Gisel, who filmed the encounter, recognized the guest from earlier in the day. He had already cut in front of her in the standby queue, and now he was trying to manipulate the system again.

The Backlash: Should This Guest Be Kicked Out?

In the video, many viewers expressed their disbelief at the guest’s behavior, with some commenting that he should have been escorted out of the park. After all, Epic Universe was offering an exclusive preview—a rare opportunity that many people would have loved to experience, and yet this guest seemed to feel entitled to disregard the rules.

As the altercation escalated, viewers voiced their support for the Universal team member, praising her professionalism in handling the situation.

Many commenters on the video agreed that Universal should consider revoking the guest’s Annual Pass for such blatant disregard of park rules and for the disruptive behavior he exhibited. After all, the guest had been given a privilege not afforded to many, and his behavior was tarnishing the excitement and exclusivity that these previews were meant to provide.

The video quickly sparked a conversation about the importance of maintaining respect for the rules and for fellow guests in the theme park environment.

With the grand opening of Epic Universe just around the corner, many are watching to see how the park handles this type of situation moving forward. Will there be stricter enforcement of the rules? Will Universal begin issuing warnings or penalties for disruptive guests who break the rules during previews?

Have you witnessed any rude guest behavior at a theme park? What do you think Universal should do about the guest in this video? Should his Annual Pass be revoked, or do you think he should be given another chance?
