Report: Secret Magic Kingdom Offering Finally Returns
Magic Kingdom Park might be massive to the average guest visiting Walt Disney World Resort, but the small details are what set the theme park apart.
Even if you’re at Magic Kingdom during rope drop and everything goes right for you with Disney Genie+ and your Lightning Lane selections, it’s still basically impossible to take in everything the Disney park offers in just one day. Many Disney Adults who have visited the Disney World park multiple times for many years still haven’t been able to enjoy every single offering, so it’s important to pace yourself and understand that you will have to make decisions on potential “skips” when visiting Magic Kingdom, in particular.
While we focus much time on the more popular attractions– such as Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, Space Mountain, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and the all-new TRON Lightcycle / Run— the “smaller” attractions still have much appeal for fans.
Just recently, a report from Kenny The Pirate confirmed that a special “secret” offering had finally returned. The publication shared that Prince Charming’s horse on the Prince Charming Regal Carrousel had finally come back after being away for several months.
The little-known secret that you can ride Prince Charming’s horse on the Prince Charming Regal Carrousel is a delightful and enchanting tidbit for fans of Disney theme parks and fairy tales alike. This hidden gem can be found within the enchanting confines of the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
The Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, originally known as Cinderella’s Golden Carrousel, is a beautifully crafted merry-go-round that has been a beloved attraction at the Magic Kingdom since its opening in 1971. The carousel features a total of 90 magnificent steeds, but among them lies a very special horse – Prince Charming’s horse.
What sets Prince Charming’s horse apart is its unique design and ornate decoration. The horse is adorned with elegant gold accents, a green saddle, a golden helmet, armor, and a striking regal appearance that befits a prince’s mount. It even has a golden bow tied to its tail to signify its special status.
The horse is located eight rows behind the sleigh and is on the outside, so you should be able to spot him as the attraction is making its spin around. He’s actually on the same row as Cinderella’s horse, which has a golden ribbon tied on her tail. If you have any questions, a Disney Cast Member would be happy to help you.
