Whether visiting Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort, Guests can enjoy one of the newest attractions: Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
However, the Disneyland Park version is nearly brand new, having just opened in January of this year. But would you believe that an attraction only a few months old is already falling apart?

Okay, maybe it’s not falling apart, but it’s definitely looking worse than it should after being open for just under four months! One Guest recently rode the Disneyland Park attraction, only to experience a total breakdown. They caught some of it on video, sharing it on social media:

In this video, we can see that Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway has completely shut down, and all of the lights have turned on.
When it comes to other attractions in the Disney Park, the ones using more practical animatronics and effects, turning the lights on shows a lot of behind-the-scenes Walt Disney Imagineering.

However, for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, which primarily utilizes projections, turning the lights on shows nothing but blank screens.
For many Guests, getting to walk off of a particular attraction with the lights on is a Disney dream. Rides like the Haunted Mansion or Pirates of the Caribbean, which utilize tons of audio-animatronics, are often at the top of that list.

That being said, with behind-the-scenes looks like these, we can totally understand if nobody wants to get stuck and walked off of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway!
