Guests who vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort are in for endless amazing experiences scattered throughout the four theme parks, two water parks, Disney Springs, and over two dozen Disney Resorts. Each location is uniquely themed and offers up different experiences for guests to enjoy including attractions, entertainment, dining, recreation, and much more. One of the most popular experiences that guests love to enjoy throughout all of Walt Disney World is shopping! There are hundreds of merchandise locations across the property that sell a mix of items that are slightly more common and others that are totally unique depending on the location. Guests who are looking for the perfect souvenir are sure to find one as these shopping locations offer everything including toys, clothing, accessories, jewelry, housewares, and more. With so many amazing items for sale, it is no wonder why guests love to shop while in Walt Disney World. Here are guests’ twelve favorite places to shop while enjoying a Walt Disney World vacation.

1. Emporium —

Main Street in the Magic Kingdom welcomes guests to the park with charm and architecture reminiscent of the turn of the century. Every small town has a general store, and the Emporium on Main Street is the perfect place to shop for anything a guest could want. The store stretches the entire length of Main Street and offers up merchandise including clothing, toys, games, Magic Bands, housewares, seasonal merchandise, accessories, and more.

2. Memento Mori —

The Haunted Mansion is a favorite attraction of many guests and features some iconic characters. Memento Mori is a shopping located found just outside the attraction that is totally themed on the story and details of the Haunted Mansion. Guests who spend time browsing the location can purchase many unique items inspired by the Haunted Mansion including artwork, figurines, clothing, bags, accessories, jewelry, and more. Guests can even have their picture taken and turned into a ghoulish face!

3. Big Top Souvenirs —

Storybook Circus is a lively land in the Magic Kingdom that is home to the classic attraction Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Located just across from the attraction is Big Top Souvenirs which is housed in a massive circus tent. Guests who browse the location can find items like housewares, clothing, children’s clothing and accessories, and delicious snacks sold at a special counter in the middle!

4. Mouse Gear —

Note: Mouse Gear will be closing this Fall for Epcot’s extensive renovation of Future World. There will be a temporary shopping location however until construction is complete. 

Epcot is home to a wonderful shopping location that many guests absolutely love. Mouse Gear is located in Future World East just behind the Fountain of Nations and is broken own into several themed rooms that each feature a specific type of merchandise. Guests who shop in Mouse Gear can check out toys, jewelry, accessories, Mouse Ears, clothing, and seasonal merchandise.

5. Plaza de los Amigos —

The Mexico Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase is housed mostly inside a massive ancient pyramid. Once inside, guests are welcomed into the Plaza de los Amigos which is a nighttime marketplace filled with different stalls to peruse. Guests can purchase hand painted skeletons and animals, hand crafted glassware, tequilas and spirits, clothing, accessories, and more at the wonderful stalls in the Plaza de los Amigos.

6. Karamell-Kuche —

The Germany Pavilion in World Showcase is home to some of the most popular snacks in Epcot, many of which can be found in a single location. Karamell-Kuche is located on the left hand side of the pavilion and offers up a delicious selection of prepackaged and freshly made snacks featuring caramel. Guests can purchase many different varieties of Werther’s candies as well as freshly popped caramel popcorn. At the counter, guests can also choose from all sorts of treats including caramel apples, caramel covered fruit, caramel cheesecake, and more!

7. Celebrity 5 & 10 —

Just after entering into Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests find themselves on Hollywood Boulevard with a strip of classic architecture and details that transport them to the golden age of Hollywood. On the right hand side of the street is the Celebrity 5 & 10 which offers up a unique selection of items including frames, housewares, pet accessories, towels, coffee, and more.

8. Tatooine Traders —

Star Wars fans definitely won’t miss Star Tours – The Adventure Continues in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the attraction exits into the unique and wonderful Tatooine Traders. The shopping location sells Star Wars themed merchandise including artwork, collectables, clothing, accessories, toys, and more. Guests can even purchase a special photo that inserts their faces into famous Star Wars scenes!

9. Stage 1 Company Store —

Found across from the exit of Muppet Vision 3D in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the Stage 1 Company Store. This shopping location features housewares and clothing as well as baby items and accessories. Many guests love to browse in the Stage 1 Company Store because it also sells a selection of Muppets merchandise that cannot be found elsewhere in Walt Disney World!

10. Island Mercantile —

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is home to many wonderful shopping locations including a lively one found on Discovery Island. Island Mercantile is brightly colored and vibrant and welcomes guests to shop for items ranging from accessories and clothing to children’s plush toys and headwear. Island Mercantile also offers up unique Disney’s Animal Kingdom merchandise that can’t be found anywhere else!

11. Windtraders —

Pandora – The World of Avatar can be found in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and is home to the mega popular attraction Avatar Flight of Passage. After exiting the attraction, guests emerge in Windtraders, a shopping location that sells merchandise exclusive to Pandora and the Valley of Mo’ara. Guests can purchase Na’ve cultural items, artworks, collectables, toys, clothing, and more, and even have their photo taken and turned into a Na’vi. The most popular item offered at Windtraders is a pet banshee to bring home!

12. Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures —

Located in the heart of Dinoland in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a shopping location that brings guests back to prehistoric times with amazing items. Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures is a wonderfully themed store featuring many details that help to add a rich backstory to the location. Inside, guests can purchase toys, apparel, trinkets, and more!
