Unlike Universal Orlando Resort, Walt Disney World Resort isn’t particularly known for its thrills. Instead, Walt Disney World is known for its family-friendly atmosphere, so when a thrill ride debuts in a Disney Park, it’s automatically a big deal.
Over in Animal Kingdom, the most thrilling Disney ride in the theme park is none other than Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain. And it’s definitely known for its thrills and chills, especially by Walt Disney World standards.

They shared their experience on Reddit, writing:
Back when Everest was just open, it was almost constantly breaking down. Our train was on the very first incline, near the top. They walked up and escorted us off, down the stairs on the incline. I’ve never felt so unsafe at Disney. I mean, the ride is decorated to look unsteady, but it’s another thing to be walking down those steep steps and telling yourself that the unsafe look is just paint.
