Dumbo the Flying Elephant is so iconic it’s been replicated in Magic Kingdom Park, making it an iconic symbol of Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
Not only that, but Dumbo the Flying Elephant has been entertaining Guests since the very beginning when Disneyland Park first opened in 1955.

According to the official Disneyland Resort website, Dumbo the Flying Elephant is closing on July 3. Considering there’s no additional information, we can guess this attraction will close for refurbishment and upkeep.
Inside the Magic recently reported that this closure may be indefinite, seeing as the official Disneyland Resort calendar doesn’t indicate anything past July 4, the day after the initial closure.

However, there is some good news! Dumbo the Flying Elephant closes on July 3, meaning that Guests have the rest of May and June to enjoy this classic Disneyland attraction.
