New Stills Show We Are Getting TWO Little Mermaids in the New Live Action Film

For a film of this scale, one Little Mermaid just wasn’t enough!

As the release date creeps closer, anticipation for the new The Little Mermaid live action film is growing. This project has been in the works for years, and Ariel is one of the most beloved Disney princesses of all time. Fans of Ariel will be in for an incredible surprise; a new still from the movie has shown that we are getting two Ariels in the upcoming film!

The More the Merryer!

Walt Disney Studios is not getting stingy with the Ariels in this upcoming film. Ariel will be brought to life by singer and actress Halle Bailey in the upcoming role. Halle has blown away the world with her talent and beauty, and so far the teasers for the movie look incredible. She really seems like she is nailing the role, but the actress has had some help in preparing. The original voice of Disney Princess Ariel, Jodi Benson, has helped guide her into the role.

Jodi Benson is a true Disney legend. Disney fans fell in love with Jodi’s Ariel from the animated film first, and for some, it’s been tough seeing her pass down the touch to Halle. Luckily for them, they will be seeing Jodi on the big screen very soon.

A new still from the live-action movie has been revealed that shows Jodi Benson having a conversation with Halle’s Ariel. The moment looks absolutely adorable, and Ariel fans are rightfully freaking out.
