New Hollywood Studios Muppets Offering Opens Today, but Not for Everyone
Annual Passholder magnets turned into serious collectibles somewhere along the way.
They did not start that way. Originally just a small freebie you grabbed if you happened to walk past the right spot. Now, Passholders track release dates, plan park days around pickups, and display the entire run at home as a timeline of every year they have visited.
Scarcity drives it. Disney puts out only a handful each year, which makes each one a limited keepsake instead of regular merchandise. Timing drives it, too. The magnets tend to mark something, whether that is a new attraction, an anniversary, or a shift happening on the property.
This one marks a shift. And after weeks of teasing, it is out.
The Kermit the Frog Annual Passholder magnet is now available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The Design
Disney shared a first look, and it goes musical.
Kermit sits front and center, reclined against a Walt Disney World logo with a wide grin, a banjo across his lap.
“Walt Disney World” runs down the left edge. “Annual Passholder” spells out in bold black letters along the bottom.
That banjo is the detail. It references Kermit’s signature instrument from decades of Muppets performances, and it loosely connects the magnet to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.
This is the entire reason this magnet lives at this park. The Muppets moved onto Sunset Boulevard when the coaster reimagining opened, and even with that, fans want more muppets.
Getting One at Hollywood Studios

You have to be there in person with a valid Annual Pass and a government-issued photo ID. Nobody can grab one on your behalf.
Take “while supplies last” seriously. Magnets tied to popular characters routinely vanish before the posted end date, and Kermit has decades of goodwill working for him. Six weeks sounds like plenty until it runs out in three.

Key Lime Kermit Milkshake
At Dockside Diner during normal operating hours. Show your Annual Pass in the My Disney Experience app, plus a valid photo ID, to buy one.
Key lime is a sharp pick. Gets the green without food coloring, and it survives Central Florida in August, which not every seasonal item can say.
Kermit PhotoPass Magic Shot
Disney PhotoPass photographers, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
You do not meet Kermit. He gets added to the finished PhotoPass image afterward. Magic Shots have grown popular precisely because of that, and this version is off-limits to regular day guests.
Watch the hours gap. The magnet is available all day. Magic Shot is a six-hour window. Want both? Plan around the shorter one.
Disney notes that PhotoPass locations and times may change, and these remain subject to weather and operational adjustments.
How We Got Here

The teasing paid off. This has been one of the more anticipated magnet releases in a while, mostly because it is the first Muppets Passholder magnet.

One Thing to Sort First
Entering Hollywood Studios as an Annual Passholder still requires a valid Annual Pass, with a park reservation when required, entry after 2 p.m. on eligible days, or a Good-to-Go day visit, if applicable.
The magnet does not get you in. Handle park access before you build a trip around it.
