Disneyland Resort Sees Big Changes

Disneyland Resort’s Park reservation system has been somewhat of a headache for many fans. Since April 2021, when Bob Chapek was CEO, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure have required Guests to make reservations in addition to the purchase of tickets to the Park. Reservations are also required for all Magic Key Annual Passholders.

During the pandemic, it was important for Disney and other theme Park operators to implement measures to ensure the safety of their Guests. By introducing Park Pass Reservation systems, Disney could keep a handle on Park capacity and create the necessary social distancing measures throughout the Southern California theme parks.

The Park Pass Reservation is required to gain entry to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. A similar system was also implemented at Walt Disney World Resort. Now, a major change to this system has been changed.

Guests Can Now Modify Reservations… Hassle-Free!

One of the most irritating parts of the Park reservation modification system was what happened when you would try to modify a Park reservation for a different day or a different Park. The old system made it so fans had to cancel their reservation and then rebook for a new date or Park. This has now been changed.

As of tomorrow, May 17, Guests will be able to modify their Park reservation without the headache.

As far as fans are concerned, this change is long overdue. It is great to see Bob Iger implement changes that reflect Guest wishes!
