When it comes to Disney history and different eras, nothing is more exciting for fans than to be a part of the magic themselves!
Visiting Walt Disney World during its 50th Anniversary Celebration is something that all fans of the Orlando theme parks would want to participate in.
To make it easier for fans, Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th Anniversary Celebration lasted a whopping 16 months, giving everyone enough time to pick a date to visit that works for them.
Walt Disney World also made sure to market this historical event with countless commercials and other advertisements. Locals who live nearby Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and Disney Springs saw more ads than anyone else.
To promote the 16-month-long event, Walt Disney World put up several billboards. Some advertised fan-favorite attractions such as Avatar Flight of Passage, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and more. However, other billboards simply showed the beautiful Cinderella Castle with the 50th Anniversary Celebration emblem that Disney fans have gotten to know and love.
But one local recently snapped a photo showing that this era of Disney has come to an end.
In this picture, we can see that the billboard is being dismantled now that there are only a few days left of this celebration. While we’re nearly positive that another Walt Disney World advertisement will go up in this one’s place, it’s still bittersweet to see such an exciting historical moment pass.
However, all good things must come to an end, including the Most Magical Celebration on Earth. Here’s to what comes next for Walt Disney World!
