Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven Returns to ‘Stranger Things’ After Season 5 Death

Millie Bobby Brown may be done playing Eleven in live action, but the character has already returned to the Stranger Things universe.

Eleven is back in the second season of Stranger Things: Tales From ’85, the animated Netflix spinoff set between the second and third seasons of the flagship series. Brooklyn Davey Norstedt reprises her role as the character, leaving Brown in the rearview mirror once again.

Other returning cast members include Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Max Mayfield, Luca Diaz as Mike Wheeler, Braxton Quinney as Dustin Henderson, Elisha “EJ” Williams as Lucas Sinclair, Ben Plessala as Will Byers, Odessa A’zion as Nikki Baxter, Brett Gipson as Jim Hopper, Jeremy Jordan as Steve Harrington, and Alessandra Antonelli as Nancy Wheeler.

Tales From ’85 premiered in April, shortly after the fifth and final season of Stranger Things brought the live-action story to its conclusion.

But could the likes of Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), and Sadie Sink (Max Mayfield) eventually return?

The good news is that Netflix has confirmed another live-action Stranger Things spinoff from Matt and Ross Duffer, but sadly, the project won’t follow the original Hawkins characters.

The Duffers have confirmed that the series will have “no common characters” with the flagship show, and will instead create a new story that focuses on the mysterious briefcase rock seen in Season 5.

There has also been speculation about a separate project involving Brown and Wolfhard. Reports have claimed that the pair could return as Eleven and Mike, but Netflix and the Duffers have yet to officially announce the project.

As such, Tales From ’85 provides the latest opportunity to see Eleven and the other young characters again, albeit with a new voice cast. Season 2 premieres on September 17. Watch the official trailer below:
