This time of year is extra special at Walt Disney World. Guests can enjoy additional experiences throughout the parks and resorts during their trips. These unique experiences add some extra magic to an already fantastic experience.
If you hope to travel to Walt Disney World these next few months, you hopefully have your plans already locked in. Over the last few weeks, we have seen some of these exceptional experiences become unavailable to guests quickly.
Special Experiences
At Walt Disney World, guests have a variety of special events to enjoy this holiday season. Last week was the first-ever Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This event brought a new holiday twist to Disney Park for the first time.
Guests could enjoy exceptional dining, live entertainment, rides, goodies, and new, unique holiday shows featuring beloved characters such as Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy.
The event’s opening night, which took place on November 11, 2023, from 8:30 to 12:30 pm didn’t go well, with some guests calling it a “complete disaster”. Only two out of the eleven remaining party dates are sold out.

This will allow guests traveling down to attend if they choose, even at the last minute.
In EPCOT, guests can enjoy the seasonal festival starting November 24, 2023. This event brings delicious holiday kitchens, Storytellers worldwide, and the beloved Candlelight Processional.
The Candlelight Processional brings the traditional Christmas Story to guests through music and storytelling. It is a beloved experience by many. Those wanting to ensure themselves a spot can book a dining package. This allows them to enjoy an excellent meal and reserved seating for a performance.
At Disney’s Magic Kingdom, guests enjoy Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This holiday event happens on select nights throughout November and December.
The holiday party includes memorable experiences unique to the party experience. Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show lights up the night sky above Cinderella Castle each evening.
Outstanding floats in Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade bring joy and cheer as they travel throughout Magic Kingdom, ending on Main Street USA, with snow.
The event is full of magic and cheers all night long.

It is hard to say why this happened this week, but it is clear that this party continues to be a must-do for guests traveling to Walt Disney World. These exceptional experiences are a massive part of the holiday experience. Even with the additional cost, guests continue to enjoy them each year.
This is a good reminder that if these special experiences are important to your Walt Disney World trip, purchase those tickets early on.
