Disney World Christmas Party Tickets Vanish as 20 of 25 Nights Sell Out

Which Nights Are Left for Families?

Disney World’s Christmas celebration is running out of room on the ticket calendar before the first party even begins.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party returns to Magic Kingdom on November 8, but the 2026 event has already reached a major ticket milestone. All 12 November party nights are sold out, and November 6 availability reporting identifies just five remaining dates in December.

That leaves 20 of Disney’s 25 scheduled Christmas parties sold out, or 80% of the event calendar. For families who already have a Walt Disney World vacation booked, the remaining dates could determine whether the separately ticketed celebration fits their plans.

And the cheapest remaining option isn’t available until December 10.

Disney World Christmas Party Reaches 20 Sold-Out Nights Before Opening

The latest change involves Tuesday, December 8, which has joined the growing list of unavailable Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party dates.

The development follows another major milestone. On November 5, Inside the Magic reported that all 12 November Christmas parties had sold out, leaving six December nights available at the time.

With December 8 now reported sold out, that number has dropped to five.

Disney’s official 2026 event calendar lists 25 parties between November 8 and December 22. However, the scheduled event calendar and the dates still available for purchase are no longer the same.

The distinction matters for guests planning holiday trips. A family arriving in late November cannot simply select another November Christmas party, while travelers visiting closer to Christmas may find that their preferred night has already sold out.

These restrictions concern Christmas party tickets, not general daytime admission to Magic Kingdom.

Only Five December Christmas Party Dates Remain

According to the November 6 availability information, the remaining Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party dates and adult ticket prices are:

Remaining date Price, ages 10+
Thursday, December 10 $219
Friday, December 11 $224
Sunday, December 13 $224
Tuesday, December 15 $224
Thursday, December 17 $229

All prices are per person before tax. Tickets for children ages three through nine cost $10 less, while children younger than three do not require a ticket.

December 10 is the least expensive remaining option at $219 for guests ages 10 and older. December 17 is the latest date still identified as available, even though Disney’s published party schedule continues through December 22.

For a family of four purchasing two adult tickets and two tickets for children ages three through nine, December 10 would cost $856 before tax. That same ticket combination would cost $896 on December 17.

The $40 difference may not determine an entire vacation, but it gives families comparing dates a practical starting point.

Guests should check Disney’s official ticket purchase page before making plans, since remaining inventory can change.

Magic Kingdom’s Cheapest Christmas Party Nights Are Already Gone

The latest sellouts also leave fewer opportunities for guests hoping to attend at the lowest advertised prices.

Earlier in October, Inside the Magic documented the disappearance of the season’s $189 party dates. Those tickets represented the lowest advertised admission price for the 2026 celebration.

Now, even the least expensive remaining adult ticket costs $219 before tax, a $30 increase over that original price floor.

The situation has changed considerably since Inside the Magic’s October 18 availability update, when multiple November and December dates were still available.

Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members face another limitation. Disney advertises a $10 ticket discount for eligible members on select dates ending December 3. None of the five remaining dates falls within that published discount window.

For those guests, holding an eligible membership does not automatically reduce the price of a remaining December ticket.

What Guests Still Get With a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Ticket

Despite the shrinking calendar, the event itself remains scheduled to offer a full evening of holiday entertainment.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party runs from 7 p.m. until midnight, with valid event ticket holders permitted to enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4 p.m.

Disney’s advertised entertainment includes Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, holiday character appearances, and seasonal treats.

Several attractions also receive holiday touches, including Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, and Mad Tea Party.

The separate event ticket includes admission during the permitted party entry window, meaning guests do not need to purchase an additional daytime park ticket solely to attend.

For families already visiting Walt Disney World, that distinction could influence how they organize their park days.

Guests considering the celebration should also remember that a sold-out party does not establish actual attendance figures, attraction wait times, or crowd conditions. Disney limits ticket inventory, but its public calendar does not disclose how many guests will attend each event.

Disney World Guests Face a Narrower Holiday Planning Window

The biggest concern now is whether the remaining dates match trips that families have already arranged.

Disney’s Christmas party season continues through December 22, but the November 6 availability snapshot identifies December 17 as the last night guests can currently purchase.

That leaves travelers visiting December 18 through December 22 without an available party date matching their trip in the reported inventory.

Guests should also understand the event’s ticket rules before purchasing. Disney states that Christmas party tickets are nonrefundable, nontransferable, and valid only for their designated dates and hours.

The latest sellout continues a progression that Inside the Magic tracked throughout October as the November calendar steadily narrowed.

For anyone still hoping to attend, the next step is straightforward: compare the five reported December dates with existing travel plans, confirm current availability through Disney, and review the final checkout price before purchasing.

With opening night scheduled for November 8, the Christmas party’s remaining ticket calendar has already become much shorter than its advertised season.

Since first stepping inside the Magic Kingdom at nine years old, I knew I was destined to be a theme Park enthusiast. Although I consider myself a theme Park junkie, I still have much to learn and discover about Disney. Universal Orlando Resort has my heart; being an Annual Passholder means visiting my favorite places on Earth when possible! When I’m not writing about Disney, Universal, or entertainment news, you’ll find me cruising on my motorcycle, hiking throughout my local metro parks, or spending quality time with my girlfriend, family, or friends.
