Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Just Got a Hidden Perk and Only Select Guests Can Claim It

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets just opened to the general public, and there is already a lot happening around this event that guests need to know before they book. Halloween night is sold out. October prices have climbed. And Disney Vacation Club members just found out they are getting something extra at the party this year that Disney has not bothered to explain yet.

That last part is what has the Disney Vacation Club community talking.

The Mystery Keepsake

Disney announced that eligible DVC members attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026 can pick up a special Halloween keepsake at McKim’s Mile House, the member lounge located in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom. The pickup window is 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time on party nights.

Here is the catch that is making this more interesting than a standard member perk announcement: Disney has not revealed what the keepsake actually is. No preview. Not even a description. Just the confirmation that it exists and that eligible members with party tickets can claim it.

The member and up to four accompanying guests with valid party tickets all qualify. Daytime admission does not count, so this is exclusively a party ticket benefit. The lounge itself will be closed for its regular amenities during the event, so members should plan the keepsake pickup around the party schedule rather than expecting the full lounge experience.

Disney has also noted that keepsake options and experiences are subject to change.

Tickets Are On Sale Now and Halloween Night Is Already Gone

General ticket sales opened to the public and the first major piece of news is that October 31, Halloween night, is already sold out. That date went fast and it is not coming back.

For guests still deciding on a date, here is how the pricing breaks down. October nights are the most expensive on the calendar, ranging between $189 and $224 per person depending on the specific date. August represents the most budget-friendly window. Opening night on August 7 is priced at $159, while all other August dates range between $119 and $149. September falls in between as the season builds toward its Halloween peak.

Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders both receive $10 off the standard ticket price, which is worth applying to whichever date fits the budget best.

The 2026 Halloween Party Calendar

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026 runs from August 7 through October 31, with August 7 marking the earliest opening night in the event’s history. The full date lineup is as follows:

  • August: 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30
  • September: 1, 4, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29
  • October: 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31

August and September parties fall on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with September adding a Thursday night on the 24th. October expands to include most Thursdays and the now sold-out Halloween night on Saturday, October 31.

What DVC Members Should Do Right Now

For DVC members who were already planning to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year, the mystery keepsake adds a genuinely compelling bonus to a night that was already worth buying a ticket for. The $10 member discount, the keepsake pickup window at McKim’s Mile House, and the broader party experience all come together to make any party night a more valuable proposition for eligible members than it would be for a standard ticket buyer.

The smartest move right now is picking a date before more of the popular October nights follow Halloween into sold-out territory. The keepsake will still be a mystery when guests arrive at McKim’s Mile House, and that might be the most interesting part of the whole offer.
