Man Stands Outside Disney Park and Shocks Guests With His Offensive Message

Homophobe outside Disneyland

When you drive through the gates of Walt Disney World Resort, it seems that the magic just washes over you. You have left the real world and are now in a place full of wonder and happiness. It is not quite the same when you see Disneyland Resort. Disneyland Resort is in the middle of a city and comes up on you pretty fast. You exit the highway and boom! There is Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! right there off to the side. It is still a magical place, it just doesn’t have the same grand, magical entrance.

There are two ways to enter Disneyland Resort, and one of them is right on a main road. That road is open to the public, which means anyone can stand right outside the Parks and say whatever they want, even if it is terribly unkind. One such person decided to set up right outside of Disneyland recently. TikToker Rachel (@rachelvalenciaa) was walking out of the Resort when she heard a man on a microphone. The man was spewing his beliefs about people who were members of the LGBTQ+ community.

She filmed her unbelievable encounter, which you can watch below. Warning: The speech may be triggering to some.

It is possible that this man felt compelled to spread his inappropriate message right outside of Disneyland Resort due to Disney’s recent involvement in Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill. Critics of the bill have said that it targets members of the LGBTQ+ community, and Disney CEO Bob Chapek has repeatedly spoken out against it. Chapek has even said that the company will work to have the bill repealed.

While Disney would never allow this type of behavior to take place on its property — which includes Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, and Downtown Disney — it cannot control what people do just outside its gates. Disneyland Resort is known as The Happiest Place on Earth where all are welcome. While Disney does have certain rules and guidelines that Guests must follow while on Resort property, Disney does not discriminate against any of its Guests for any reason.
