The third and final installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy recently came out, and fans had a lot of mixed reactions to it.
Guardians Vol. 3 stars Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Will Poulter as Adam Warlock, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon, Dave Bautista as Drax, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Vin Diesel as Groot, and of course, Chukwudi Iwuji as the High Evolutionary, one of the scariest MCU villains to date.

According to many fans of Marvel Studios who rushed to the theaters to see Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 (2023), this film was one of, if not the best, Marvel movie since Avengers: Endgame (2019).
But fans also thought it was an incredibly heartwarming and heart-wrenching installment. The focus on Rocket Racoon’s tragic backstory was brought to life in one of the most emotionally devastating ways imaginable.

If you’ve seen Guardians Vol. 3, you know exactly what we’re talking about.
The sequences of Rocket Raccoon and his childhood friends, Teefs the Walrus, Floor the Bunny, and Lylla the Otter, have become some of the most frightening, devastating, and in some ways, uplifting scenes in all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

However, there’s more to learn about these sequences. James Gunn recently revealed on Twitter that at least some of these scenes were shot with motion capture technology, making them even more moving.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was released on May 5 and can still be watched in theaters.
